FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in clear pricing with no hidden fees. My coaching is billed in 4-week blocks to keep your momentum steady and secure your recurring spot on my calendar. Standard Packages: - Basic ($220 per block): One 45-minute 1-on-1 session per week + standard app support. - Autonomy Builder ($275 per block): One 1-on-1 session per week + custom programmed workouts for you to do on your own. - Complete Accountability ($475 per block): Two 1-on-1 sessions per week + unlimited coaching access. What’s Included: Every program includes a Hevy Pro subscription ($0 cost to you) so we can track your history, celebrate wins, and ensure you're progressing safely. Discounts & Travel: Partner Discount: Save $10 per person per session when you train with a friend or spouse at the same location! Travel: Prices include travel within Martinsburg, WV and Winchester, VA. (A small $15 surcharge applies for locations 10-15 miles outside these hubs). I work block-by-block. You stay because you see progress, not because of a legal contract.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step 1: The Intake Before we meet, you’ll fill out a short digital form (including the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire). This helps me understand your history, any previous injuries, and where you are starting from so we can make the most of our time together. Step 2: The 1-Hour Strategy Session Next, we meet for a dedicated strategy session. We’ll dive deep into your specific goals and what you want to achieve. This includes a light assessment workout where I can observe how you move and identify your strengths. From there, we’ll discuss a personalized plan that fits your life. Step 3: Training According to Your Plan Once we’ve chosen the right pace for you, we’ll begin our regular sessions. Each meeting is approximately 45–50 minutes long and is carefully programmed to include: A Focused Warm-up: To prepare your joints and muscles. The Core Workout: Intentional, functional strength training tailored to your progress. A Cool Down: To aid recovery and transition you back into your day. I handle the programming and the tracking so you can focus entirely on showing up and moving forward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), which is the gold standard in the fitness industry. This certification specifically focuses on the Optimum Performance Training (OPT) model, a science-based system that prioritizes stability and mobility before moving into heavy strength or power. This training allows me to work safely with a wide range of clients—from those starting from scratch to those looking to break through a plateau. My education is centered on "Functional Strength," meaning I am trained to help you build a body that performs better in your everyday life, not just inside a gym. I am also committed to ongoing continuing education to stay current on the latest exercise science and recovery techniques.
