The estimate I gave you was based on the fact that the previous handyman did the job improperly, and everything needed to be fully redone. Fixing someone else’s mistakes always requires more time, materials, and attention to detail. Regarding materials: I gave you a price range of $200 to $300, because I use proper, high-quality materials that ensure durability and correct results. Another handyman may say $100, but that usually means cheaper materials or a simplified approach that does not provide the same quality. I work in a way that no other contractor has to come after me to redo the job. My goal is to do it once and do it right. Thank you for acknowledging my quick response.
