Malama Design and build saved me from a terrible situation with my master bathroom remodel. A contractor that I hired did terrible work and entire new bathroom had to be demolished due to poor install and janky craftsmanship. I called Michael and he came right over within 45 minutes and agreed the guy who did my remodel was a complete disaster. He gave me a quote and scheduled his guys for the following week. My bathroom is now like a spa oasis and top notch quality. Incredibly professional and the best at what they do. They even cover all your floors with carpet and floor protector to keep everything tidy and clean during their work. I am truly grateful and appreciate how hard these guys work and how talented they are at what they do. Cant thank you guys enough!!!

I had a pleasure working with Alexandria when it came time to renew my master bedroom. Alexandria came out to look at my condo to get a feel for what it looks like and what the rest of the condo is like. We then met at their showroom where she helped me select all the paint colors, carpet, and other finishes. Once everything was selected work was scheduled and everything was done promptly. At first, I was worried since I live in a high rise in downtown Bellevue, but the team knew how to work in common spaces, and everything was very professional and clean. Even the building manager complemented me on the contractor selection.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are a fixed price contractor. Our final proposal is the price you pay outside of customer initiated change orders or unforeseen events such as but not limited to discovery of dry rot inside the wall.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process is to meet the customer at their house for a free consolation. We then provide a rough budget for the project that we either based on similar recently completed or ongoing project or for smaller jobs we provide a fixed price right away (such as backsplash tile replacement, or countertop replacement)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Years of experience and manufacturer training classes on materials we use. All of our electricians, plumbers and mechanical contractors are licensed to do what they do. We are licensed, bonded and insured and so are all of our subcontractors.
