Working with Rob has been a fantastic experience. I shopped around and got quotes from many different contractors/companies for adding a MIL suite to my basement and Rob was the clear winner. He was the only one who actively worked with me to realize my idea/vision. Rob brought so much experience, skill, and insight to the project. A true asset when working on an old house that has its quirks. He was punctual and productive each and every day. He was able to stop water from getting into the basement, added a room, stairwell landing, doors to separate the basement from the rest of the house, plumbing for a kitchen, new flooring, and a good amount of electrical reconfiguring. My budget didn't allow for me to completely finish the project but I know that Rob will be the first person I call once I'm ready to do so.

Marco and the GenPro team did a great job remodeling our basement. We had an unfinished basement that we finished with a living room, new bathroom, new bedroom, and laundry room. We were on a tight timeline, but fortunately Marco's team started work only 3 days after we agreed to the bid. As with any major construction project, there were a few hiccups but GenPro not only fixed them, they also covered several of the fixes themselves without charging me additional cost. In particular, I owe Eric - the foreman on our project - extra appreciation. His experience and creativity were very valuable; I can't even count how many opportunities he identified to either improve the work with smart suggestions or to rectify a seemingly difficult issue somewhat easily. Ultimately, everything was top-notch quality and the cost was far more reasonable. My family runs a construction business in a different city and they were amazed at how great the work was for the cost. My one piece of advice is to over-communicate with Marco throughout the project; at first I thought I would be bothering him, but you should know he is very conscientious and wants to deliver results, so don't hesitate to ask for frequent updates and make sure everyone is on the same page. For reference, our basement remodel took ~11 weeks from start to finish.

You must absolutely hire BZR Remodeling. My husband and I are absolutely over the moon with our latest experience working with them. Here's a breakdown of what we loved. Sidenote: There's literally nothing we didn't love about working with them. We loved: - How quickly they responded to our Thumbtack message. Within hours! - How quickly they were able to come onsite and view our project - How creative they were at problem-solving; over the years we've thought semi-seriously about a big basement laundry remodel and each time we had someone come see it they quoted astronomical prices for plans we weren't in love with. Eden came out and within minutes he had solutions we'd never thought of and all for less than we'd previously been quoted - How professional they were. Eden came to the first site visit and prepared a quote on the spot. He had documentation ready and before the end of our meeting, we had a project start date. I've never worked with a contractor team that was this buttoned-up - Last -and most important- the level of craftsmanship is exceptional. We needed creative and complicated drywalling done, we needed floor leveling, window replacement, and marble tile cutting and placing. Every single thing is level and all of the tiles are perfectly spaced. Everyone we met who worked for BZR was kind, clean, and courteous. Before the project finished we discussed other projects for the future. I will 100% be working with them again; they can do it all.
