About this pro
Larry reached out to me addressing my personal concerns and offering suggestions to help--whether I hired him or not (he was farther away than what I was looking for). I decided the extra drive was worth it. Thank you!Feb 14, 2016Verified
I have known Larry since I was about 5 years old, and he has been making music fun ever since with his broad range of musical talents and skills. He really wants everyone to get excited about music and his teaching style is interactive-- so tell him what you are interested in and what you care about and he will create an entire lesson just for you. I highly recommend Larry as a teacher for any age (and practically any instrument, too)!Apr 14, 2014
Friendly and knowledgable, Larry was my piano teacher for over 5 years, but together we dabbled in voice, sax, guitar, and even a bit of drums. He tailored lessons to exactly what I wanted to do and how I wanted to do it. He can stick to the standard lesson plans, or adapt them to exactly what you want to learn. He's a good guy and a good teacher who gave me all the foundations to be confident in just about every aspect of music.Apr 3, 2014
I was a piano student with Larry Schacher for two years. I had classical training but was interested in learning about jazz, blues, and improvisation. I was nervous to start, but Larry soon put me at ease, helping me transition to the new style I was attempting to learn. Larry teaches with patience and understanding while keeping the process entertaining and challenging.Dec 31, 2013
My and my family's experience with Larry covers several years, as he was our son's music teacher, teaching him the trumpet and, later, the guitar. Larry is one of the teachers you always hope for. Full of life experience, lots of musicality, and most of all for us, the ability to impart a greater love of music to his students. Always patient, he encouraged but never scolded. We highly recommend Larry and believe most anyone will have a great experience with him too.Dec 31, 2013
