When our team was called, we inspected the switch area in the garage. The good news is that the switch itself was not damaged — only a slight surface discoloration on the cover, likely from earlier repair work nearby. Since this is in the garage, the appearance is less important, but for a cleaner look in the future, the cover can easily be replaced and the wall touched up. According to code, the switch is safe and does not need replacement.
