My dance instructor was Johnny Bryant, (and still is) :-) I was a beginner at partner dancing and it was challenging, but my teacher made the challenge fun! I've done a lot of styles of dance from Ballet and Modern to Hip-hop, so I love dance and was thrilled to learn partner dancing, especially my favorite Swing!

My name is Victoria! I am a student of Sergei Burlak! I’ve been dancing in the contemporary dance theatre "Art Modern line Sergei Burlak" for six years. I can say with confidence that he is a wonderful teacher, choreographer, very creative and unusual man! He loves his job and gives his mind to dance! He was the one who introduced me to modern dance, contact improvisation! Under the influence of his work, I began to dance seriously! Unusual choreography that goes beyond ordinary consciousness, it can't not touch! With great pleasure we took part in dance projects and performances created by Sergey! I hope to work with him more in the future!

When my husband and I decided to get married, I wanted us to be able to do a real first dance. So I looked for dance lessons in our area and found Jeannette Baker. She made the classes fun, made sure everyone was getting it and we could even do a short dance at the end of 6 wks lesson. Then we took private lessons about once a week till the wedding, Jeannette helped us choragraph 2-first dances for our wedding. They both were big hits, if you could only see the video and hear the people cheering and clapping though both dances. So many comments from friends and family how great our wedding was and the best part, was the dances! We still take dance lessons today, Jeannette makes class so enjoyable and fun. SO when my daughter got married a year ago, she also wanted a nice first dance, Jeannette again did a outstanding job, choreographing a first dance for them. She, DJ'd the wedding as well, again a outstanding job, playing music and teaching lines dances to the guests. The dance floor was always full and the guests had a great time!!!!

Could not be happier with dance lessons. I'm a poor dancer who had made significant process in a short amount of time. Gayle is very easy to work with and creates a comfortable environment for learning.

Michael has been so great! He is warm and friendly and non-judgemental, all great qualities for someone new to dancing. My fiance and I chose to start learning to dance so we don't embarrass ourselves for our first dance. Michael has been so patient and encouraging and we finally feel like we can really dance. It has been great! My fiance, who never danced before finally enjoys dancing!

As a student of Simeon and Kora’s for the past two years, I can say that they are great teachers and more than qualified to teach wedding dance lessons to couples aspiring to do something original and beautiful for their first dance. Simeon and Kora are particularly good at teaching these kind of lessons because they always tailor lessons toward what you the student wants to get out of them, so if you want help coming up with a routine to a particular song you have chosen, or even need help picking one, want to learn some basic social dancing steps, or something else, they will help you make the most out of the experience. In terms of qualifications, Simeon and Kora are internationally recognized competitive ballroom dancers, but they also have many years of teaching experience and have put together countless shows and performances, both themselves and with students, so they really are experts in putting together show quality choreography. Simeon and Kora are flexible, easy to work with, and fun, so expect to have a great time learning your wedding dance! If in the process you should happen to get bitten by the “dancing bug,” Simeon and Kora will be able to take you to the next level to pursue further dance goals.

About

I have yet to meet someone that isn't full of inspiration after a conversation with me. I'm a fantastic teacher, and I know how to simplify things for people who run into bumps in the road.

About

I teach dance to all ages. I am currently focused on elements of hip-hop (krump, popping, freestyle technique, hip-hop choreography, etc.) My focus is teaching kids and teenagers dance to help grow both their experiences on hip-hop knowledge and passion. I have taught both one-on-one classes and group classes.

About

Hip Hop Breakin/ Break Dancin - Are you ready for a fun challenge? Breakdance is based loosely from hip-hop dance and it’s music. Common breakdance movements the students learn are the 6-step, 4-step and toprock. The 6-step helps provide a base from which other moves are performed. Many skills are performed on the floor and include intricate movements, body contortion, acrobatics. After grasping the basics students progress to study more complex skills like freezes (holding a movement for a moment or two). Along with all the floor work, popping and locking are introduced. As you advance, we will learn power moves such as The Windmill, Headspins and Flares. There is much leeway to create your own style and skills once you pick up the basics of breakdance. Once you have mastered the basics I'll help the dancers the skills they need to be successful at create their own movement style. Bboy/Bgirl battles are a way for dancers to show their confidence in their freestyle. This class is taught in a safe and effective manner in which I'll break down skills and runs drills to help instill proper
