FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It all started when I began to do my own translations of documents because I could not stand reading the poorly translated documents I encountered. Then, I had friends and other colleagues asking me for translations because they know how strict I (and now my team as well) am about maintaining high standards. Due to the high demand, now I translate professionally, and I love it!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I am very fortunate to have a team of very talented translators who have experience in multiple industries. I personally enjoy translations about technology, medical and legal. We translate a lot of birth certificates, product manuals, school transcripts, medical letters and reports, and legal documents.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Please feel free to ask as many questions as you see necessary to obtain an accurate estimate and the translation you really want. Even though is difficult to see complete samples of a document for privacy reasons, a true professional cannot do it all and that person should be honest to express what industries he/she is more comfortable or experienced in translating. So be wary of a translator that can do all kinds of translation. If you encounter someone like that, he/she should have a team of translator's working with him/her. Lastly, all translations should be reviewed at least once to catch all possible errors. We review multiple times by multiple translators. Make sure your estimate includes a document review. You shouldn't be charged additionally for a review, unless, of course, you are hiring a company that uses automated translation.
