FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The most common type of jobs for clients really depend on the type of clientele' and their needs. Normally, homeowners need anything from a simple room painted to a full exterior. The interiors that I have done consisted of two-tones and custom colors where the ceiling or "lid" is a different color and sheen from the walls. It adds depth, color, and class to any interior space within a home. I also do minor drywall repairs and texturing to match the surrounding pre-existing substrates. I have done numerous staining jobs which sometimes require a lengthy process if the finish work is to come out looking great. All which I have substantial amount of experience in. Now for the exterior of the home. I have noticed, depending on where you live, that alot of exteriors are in need of painting because of the adverse weather Washington State faces as well as mold, moss and mildew. The exteriors, if not maintained ie. (treated, pressure washed, or given a preventative prime and painting) will fail and could lead to a costly siding repair or replacement.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice to customers that are looking to hire a painter is to number one, ensure that the prospective paint contractor is licensed and bonded. This not only shows that the contractor feels that they are good enough at what they do, but that they are professional enough to protect you, as well as themselves. In addition, it is the law. Do a little research and ask questions. These are very important for the client to do. It helps them to understand the general scope of work, and allows them to better know their home. And do get references from the painter. Also your local paint stores, such as Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore, etc. have a wealth of information from products and do it yourself pamphlets.
