Hugo and Michelle were great to work with during my divorce. The initial meeting with Michelle put me immediately at ease. They are extremely professional, provide timely responses to questions, and I knew they were working to get the best settlement possible for me. They were very supportive over the entire 10 month process and offered invaluable guidance along the way. I especially like that they strongly encouraged us to settle before mediation, so that we wouldn't spend more money, time and emotional energy on the discovery process. They truly operate with integrity and are honest. I hope to never have to go through a divorce again but if I do, I'm definitely hiring this firm again. I highly recommend them if you find yourself needing representation for any family law issue.
My review is a bit lengthy, however please read it, I feel this Law Firm deserves my gratification and you deserve to hear from a pleased client. I was extremely happy with the outcome of my divorce case. I did not have to go to court and was able to settle things in mediation. I had the opportunity to meet the Office Manager/ Paralegal/ on her way to be a Legal Technician (impressive) Christine. She did my intake. Christine was so understanding and comforting. I knew this was a good start and a good sign. Then I spoke with Associate Attorney Brian Neuharth. He really didn't have to take time out of his schedule to talk to me about my case before Managing Attorney Mike Moceri was ready to meet with me, yet he did. My divorce case would seem to be an easy one, but there were twists and turns that made it unusually a bit more difficult than it needed to be. I wanted and needed the help. Mike did not have to take my case, but he did even though we both discussed that he would be in trial the day of my mediation, and one of his associate attorneys would accompany me in mediation. However, he would go to trial with me if it indeed had to go to trial. There were only 3 weeks before mediation and the Law Firm still took my case. Brian Holden was the Associate Attorney scheduled to be with me during mediation. Having him there was a huge relief and worth every penny. I truly feel my outcome would not have been as successful as it was without the support and assistance of Brian in addition to the backing of the Law Firm. Every single staff member that I encountered showed more concern about my case than expected. I know they have many clients other than me, but I sure feel like they went above and beyond to assured me they would do their best, yet also very forthcoming of worst-case scenarios based on their experience and how the law interprets a case like mine. My comfort and right away huge reduction of stress was greatly put at ease. In my mind, knowing that the worst-case scenario from them, I felt, would be better than any worst-case scenario I could have possibly gotten for myself. Bonus, I got exactly what I wanted and the help that I needed to make that possible. The outcome was better than I could have expected. If you take the time and go to their website and see the BIOS about the many memberships, accreditations and awards that they have, it shows, and I see why they received all these awards. Rightfully so! I assure you I knew nothing about this Law Firm, aside from what their website said before I hired them; my review is genuine. I wanted to share my experience, so others don’t miss the opportunity to work with this Law Firm. Go meet them in person, you will see! Will I hire them again if I need an attorney for any of the other services they provide? Most definitely yes!
Sharon is a good listener and can discern good judgement when it comes to common sense solutions. I have worked with her on some very sensitive personnel issues that required tact. Her ability to provide guidance to a solution that provided resolutions that were acceptable to a variety of stakeholders was invaluable.
If I had a problem that needed mediation, I would call her and only her. I know from personal experience that her skills in conflict resolution are unparalleled.
I hired The Table Mediation to mediate my divorce. Nora kept us on track and focused on the goals, separating our assets. She also allowed us to reply to each and not talk over one another, which is difficult for the both of us when there are deep emotions. Honestly, this was some of the best conversations I've had in a long time between him and I. She was very goal focused. A mediator makes a major difference during difficult situations. The Table Mediation was great. It was professional and caring as well. I am pleased with the results, very happy.
Vivian Scott is a great mediator and so much more. Vivian methods of solving conflict and mediating issues is very professional with a witty personally to break the conversation when it gets to intense. She isn't afraid of conflict or very raw emotions that are displayed by the participants. Vivian has a very graceful way of maneuvering through uncomfortable situations for the participants to talk about as a group to come to some solutions. She has great intuition on how to pull back the layers to get to the truth and put the elephant in the room. She is fabulous!
Mr. Hendry was even-tempered with occasional doses of humor throughout the 4-hour highly stressful mediation. I don't know how he did it, but we left his office with every one of our issues agreed upon.
When nothing else has worked, we can help families in serious conflict. The public exposure of going to court is often unthinkable for those who want to preserve family relationships. A great deal of conflict can fester in this area, where divided loyalties, ambivalence and conflict of interest often come into play. Effective mediation can help create workable and durable agreements, and often strengthen the underlying relationships. In divorce cases, as in any family situation, we are responsive to your individuality and committed to providing an environment of kindness and support within which to engage in the difficult work of refashioning an important relationship. We help people get unstuck and find a way to "yes". We serve people by using mediation to resolve legal conflict, including divorce. We first meet with the parties together in an initial meeting that last about an hour. We then meet with each party separately in a confidential setting. In this way, we help people access the resources they need, including advice of lawyers, to come to agreement.
In addition to my legal background, I have had extensive mediation training. I was certified as a mediator in civil and family matters by the Dispute Resolution Center of King County in 2004 and have over 400 hours in mediation skills training and workshops. My practice is client-centered, which means that the parties make the agreements rather than the lawyers or mediator. Parties do not need to hire lawyers in order to start their work with me. I will help them discuss and decide when and how to work with lawyers, as well as other professionals, in order to keep the process affordable while insuring that the parties are fully informed.
I am a Seattle based mediator with a primary focus on divorce and family mediation. I have been mediating for over 25 years. I am dedicated to helping clients resolve issues in a constructive way. I use my background as a social worker, CPA and attorney to help people reach satisfying agreements about the things they care about most: their children, their finances, and their vision of the future.
As one client has said, "What Selden brings to the table is not only practicality and effectiveness, but also a presence of witness. By that, I mean, the feeling of having your voice heard in startling clarity. During our mediation session, I had one of those rare moments of hearing my personal truth reflected back to me, and then the even rarer phenomenon of having the other party hear that truth, too." -Nan
As its primary mission, Maisano Mediation, LLC provides confidential and skilled mediation services to parties involved in employment, civil rights and other civil litigation and administrative discrimination charges. The goal of mediation is a prompt and cost-effective resolution that addresses the needs of both parties and fully resolves the dispute. Mediation is also an important tool to prevent a communication issue or a negative work group dynamic from becoming a formal, litigated dispute. When applied in the early stages of a dispute and in the context of a continued employment relationship, mediation is an essential tool to repair relationships, address hidden issues and solve the underlying problems. The earlier the parties engage in mediation, the less risk of a costly and time-consuming litigation.

I offer mediation, arbitration, and other dispute resolution services. I have been certified as a mediator by the Washington Mediation Association in business matters, probate matters, and family law matters. I am also certified by mediate.com and Snohomish County Dispute Resolution Center. I have done over 450 mediations for parties who are represented by lawyers and also those who are not represented by lawyers. I help people mediate before legal matters are filed, or after. I am very well respected and also serve as a pro tem (substitute) judge and court commissioner in the Snohomish County Superior Court. I can help you accomplish resolution to your dispute.

I help the owners and managers of family-owned and closely held businesses as a mediator, to assist them as a neutral third-party to work through business and legal conflicts and disputes (these can include situations involving compensation, management, succession planning, and employment matters, as well as other areas of corporate law and governance); because in family-owned businesses there is much more on the line than the bottom line.
I am a very well-rounded individual with a drive to compete an provide high quality work to my customers.
I have been helping couples to divorce well. As a mediator, I empower couples to divorce with integrity, respect, and fairness. In the comfort and confidential environment of my conference rooms at Carillon Point or South Lake Union, couples move through all the issues that must be determined in a divorce - a parenting plan, child support, property split, and consideration of temporary support. As a mediator, I guide the process - brainstorming solutions, writing up your agreements, and after legal review, you present them to the court. Clients love my methodical problem-solving skills, my empathy, and my reasonable fees. I ask for payment at the end of each mediation session, so clients always know where they stand financially. And I keep my fees below market in order to encourage what I truly believe is the best way to divorce. As a collaborative lawyer, I do the same thing; but as your legal counselor, I am representing one spouse while another collaborative lawyer represents the other spouse. Affiliated financial and communications professionals also provide support. Some couples need more helping hands than others to reach the end of the road and move on with their lives, preserving key relationships and achieving their goals. I also help families address family issues such as how to pass on a family business, what to do about an elderly parent in poor health, etc.
