I feel that there is great value in beginning life together with a meaningful wedding ceremony. It is always my goal to make a couple feel relaxed and comfortable in the middle of what can be a stressful day. I try to personalize the ceremony as much as possible so that it feels uniquely yours. I have received awards from Thumbtack for the two years I have been listed on their service. I love people and enjoy hearing the stories of how couples have found each other. I find great joy in helping to make this special day as meaningful as possible.

Pastor Hagey really helped make our wedding so very special. We did not know where to start with an Officiant and he took the time to explain the tradition, offer us several ideas, and assure us all would work out just fine. Well, he was wrong …. It all worked out GREAT thanks to his calming yet confident approach and demeanor. He remained professional and patient as we continued to tweak the plan right up to the very last minute. We will always remember how special he made the experience and remain forever grateful.

Me and my husband had been searching for an officiant for our wedding for months and had interviewed them with no luck or personal connection that we felt was a perfect fit for the most important part of our wedding day. When we met Doug, everything about him was what we had been waiting for. We were privileged to of even met his lovely wife, which made the experience for me and my husband that much more personal and important. On the wedding day, I don't think I could of been more comfortable and so full of joy with how Doug ran everything. Coming from a two different families with different beliefs, he not only made the ceremony to what me and my husband had envisioned...but both sides of our families left being really happy with how everything went. So overall, I highly recommend Doug as an officiant as he went above and beyond us and both of us left our wedding day remembering and being happy with how beautiful everything had gone! He is very professional, caring, understanding, and great to work with! I feel like he became a friend to us rather then someone who was there to just officiate us. He was definitely not a choice we regretted making! Thank you Doug for everything you did for us!!! It meant more to us then you could realize!

We feel so lucky to have had Doug officiate at our intimate garden wedding on Orcas Island. He fully supported and respected our ideas for the ceremony, including our own written vows. He also offered his own creative suggestions to enhance our vision and help the ceremony flow. Doug is clearly very experienced and comfortable in this role: organized, punctual, thoughtful, and professional. He is also very personable, and his warm, relaxed manner put us at ease. Our ceremony was exactly what we had hoped for and more. We can't recommend Doug highly enough!
