Introduction: Two attributes that set Ricky and Raven's work apart from other video production companies is our dedication and quality. Dedication is exhibited by our willingness to work on projects from start to finish, sometimes this means 12+ hour days. Typically we operate on a day rate with a focus on collecting all the shots necessary for a project. We meet our push towards higher quality videos by continuously learning and adopting new practices into our workflow. Enjoyment in work is observed through the human moments that are captured during the filming process. Because of these human moments what would normally be a long day goes by really fast. We needed a short promotional video made for our band "Kinetic Crush". The live performance video would also contain a quality sound track. We contacted Ricky, are were very pleased with his prompt communication. He quoted us a very good price for his services. I'm thrilled to tell you that he went above and beyond what we asked for. The video was exceptional, and there was no extra charge for excess time above his quoted price. The video has already done its job. I was pretty nervous to have someone I didnt know follow me around on my wedding day let alone film me. However they were so friendly, flexible, and kind that it took all that stress away. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All of our videos go through a standard video production process of pre-production, production, and post-production. In pre-production meetings are held with our clients and team members to solidify plans as well as the contract for the day of filming (production). During production we film according to what was agreed upon in pre-production. And finally in post we put everything together in one final package, usually to be delivered on an USB drive in a laser-cut box.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All Yak Stamp team members have varying degrees of higher educational training in video production, photography, and design.
