- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is designed to be transparent and flexible so you know exactly what to expect: Basic Day-of Ceremony – This includes pre-ceremony coordination, officiating your wedding, and filing your marriage license. Help with Wedding Vows – I can work with you in advance to create personalized vows or help you refine your own. Travel Beyond 30 Miles – A small travel fee applies for ceremonies held more than 30 miles from Everett, WA. Other Costs – Additional costs may apply for rehearsal attendance, custom ceremony writing, or last-minute date changes. I’ll provide a clear estimate before you book so there are no surprises—just a smooth, meaningful ceremony tailored to you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with an initial consultation so we can get to know each other—you’ll learn about my style, and I’ll learn about you as a couple. This is a great time to share your vision for the ceremony, special traditions you’d like to include, and any unique ideas you have. If you’re not sure where to start, I’m happy to guide you and help shape the ceremony that feels just right for you. Once you decide to book, I’ll send you a ceremony and logistics form to gather all the details—your preferences, important names, timing, and any personal touches you’d like. This helps me craft a ceremony that’s both personal and seamless. From then until your big day, I’m available for questions, ideas, or last-minute changes—by phone, email, or text—so you always feel supported and confident that your ceremony is in good hands.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I served as an ordained pastor for 12 years, licensed by the State of Washington to officiate weddings and funerals. During that time, I led many ceremonies—each tailored to reflect the couple’s personality and values. While I’m no longer serving in a pastoral role, I remain a licensed officiant in Washington State and am certified to perform wedding ceremonies. My background combines both professional training and years of real-world experience creating meaningful, memorable events.
