- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing isn't complicated. It's simple. However, it's all custom product and requires exact measurements. The pricing is based on the cost of the product, cost of labor and how much money we want the company to profit. There is no commission sales person so that's not included in your bill.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We always take advantage of any certifications and other classes that are offered by our manufacturers. It's important to know all of the techniques that are out there. We also want to know of any new products that are offered.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I watch my father-in-law do this kind of work for years successfully. I was disillusioned with the companies I worked for. I had no control of quality of product or the work being done. It doesn't feel good when you sell something to someone and they don't get what you promised and you have to control of it. I love to have control of the final product. I rely on my guys and gals being very good at what they do but it's ultimately my responsibility that my customers get exactly what I promise them. "I love it when a plan comes together".
