Prepping for a large house party is no easy task for the average person. That is why I was so thrilled to find Nola. Her energy, humor and intuitive insight helped us connect the menu to the party theme, fusing delicious foods with a fun vibrant theme. Nola and her creations were the party hit and have been the talk ever since! Nola helped me create an Oscar Party that will be hard to repeat...the party lasted 6 hours and when it was all over, there was nothing left for me to do but thank Nola for everything, from the food to her gentle care for my guests. A truly wonderful experience for my guests. Nola had perfect portions and the quantity was spot on as well. My favorite dish was the Seared Ahi Tuna on crustini with wasabi aioli, While writing this review I've considered what could have gone better and honestly cannot think of a single item. The party was a success and I made a great friend. What more can you ask for? Thank you so much Nola!
We worked with Shelby for almost a whole year to plan our wedding. We were out of state for most of the time, but she was great with using Skype and keeping a timeline of tasks. We would have regular meetings to go over ideas or plans, but she was always available and answered in a timely manner if we had a question outside of our meetings. The most important aspect is that she really listened to what we wanted and the day turned out better than I could have imagined! Shelby made the whole process stress free and we didn't have to worry about anything the day of. I would highly recommend her for any party/wedding planning or decorating/designing needs.

My wedding was on May 6th , 2017 and I had to write a review 3 days later because Kari is so amazing!! I found Kari (my I-Do) on thumbtack and basically told her that “we would like to get married in 7 weeks and we have no venue or really any idea on what we want!” She was up for it! The hardest part was that I was not living in Washington until the week of our wedding so we did everything via phone and email. Her communication from the very beginning was so impressive and she had so much experience and was so organized that it was impossible to not trust her completely. She did visit two venues with us (I made it up to WA for the venue views) and she asked all of the questions and took notes and did her thing. We ended up picking Willows Lodge for our venue and had an outdoor ceremony for 40 people. Kari literally did all of the planning for us. I gave her a few pictures of what I liked for flowers, bouquets, overall look and of course, she put together exactly what I wanted and did all of my centerpieces, decorating, everything! Our wedding was absolutely stunning because of Kari. She helped us find the photographer, the officiate, flowers, rental company for centerpieces (which she did all on her own), our quartet, and planned our rehearsal dinner. I just couldn’t have planned a wedding while trying to move out of state and working full time and Kari made my dream wedding happen without making me stress and worry. I was the calmest bride on my wedding day because I knew that Kari would make it perfect…and she did. Thank you Kari for being an amazing wedding planner but also a good person. You are kind, real, generous, and extremely knowledgeable. I enjoyed every minute working with you. Thank you for not only planning our wedding but being a part of it. Cassie
I hired Mary to plan and coordinate for my husband's surprise 40th birthday party for approximately 80 adults and children. Mary exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Mary was always available to answer my questions and I felt like my party was her priority. Mary listened to me and my ideas and was able to see my "vision" for the event and went above and beyond when it came to executing the details. Mary was prompt, professional, organized, detail orientated, and her staff was extremely courteous. We will absolutely refer Mary/Mardee's Design and use her services again in the future!
Karen planned my son's 6th birthday party. She and her assistant were both fabulous. The party was lovely and Karen managed all of the details so that I was free to mingle with our guests. She also did a great job of mingling with the guests as well. I hope to work with Karen again in the future.

The party set up was awesome, every detail was perfect from the decorations to the food. Everything I asked for was given and then some. Beautiful memories.
Amy did a fantastic job in our kids birthday parties. She was patient with everyone and did very detailed work on each one of them. I would highly recommend her.
Brian came out and made amazing ballon designs for all of the girls at the party. He was amazing with the kids and was able to make everything the kids could imagine.
The Yelp Elite party was a HUGE success! The decor was amazing and very appropriate for the time of year. Duos catering and location were two excellent choices on Innovative Events' part. I think my favorite aspect though, was how well they catered to their audience. Between ages 21 and 45 is a massive gap as far as tastes and preferences go, and between the food, booze, and games they nailed it!

Steven helped me with planning a birthday party located in Tacoma WA at the Start Center facility. We worked on it for about 3 to 4 days;he put in long hours in making centerpieces look fabulous for the set the theme of the event. Steven impressed me by his commitment, dedication and passion to providing top notch service ensuring the finish product meets the customer's satisfaction. He has shown his ability to go and beyond what's expected by providing his expert knowledge in taking the event up a level if this customer so desire. He is a great problem solver; flexible in meeting the customer needs. He is a great event planner and would definitely recommend him to others.
Lori is fantastic planning a party! She did my son's rehearsal dinner in our home, another son's wedding reception poolside at our home--both over the top in creativity, ambiance and excellence! She has done other parties, dinners, and, just recently, my daughter's graduation party. Each time I have been thrilled with the value added by her festivity and creativity!
Cherelle and Igor made our lives so much easier by competently handling many of our wedding decorations. Some of the decorations we definitely would not have been able to set up ourselves, but Cherelle and Igor found a way to make them work. A few examples of the types of decorations that Cherelle and Igor did for us are hanging indoor paper lanterns and flower strands, very classy floral center pieces, and lights hung outside. It was very easy to work with them as Cherelle was very responsive and had a lot of good ideas for us to consider. We recommend them if you are looking for someone to handle any important details of your wedding.
Hannah was the day-of-coordinator for my wedding in Sept, 2015. She was professional, friendly to all (guests, family, and vendors), and always calm. I had a large wedding, with a huge wedding party, and there a few decorating mishaps along the way. But Hannah dealt with everything with wit, poise, and firmness.
