- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free trial lesson for new students to see if they truly would enjoy pursuing lessons with me. During the first lesson, I go over my syllabus, contract, and the structure of my lessons - I specifically favor the Faber and Faber teaching method, which involves the duo's books. However, the lessons are what you choose to make of them! If you have an interest of musical pieces to learn, I am all ears. If all sounds enticing, we will begin weekly or biweekly lessons to your desire!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Along with a degree from the University of Wroclaw in Poland, I attended the University of Washington School of Music to pursue a Post Baccalaureate Certification in Music Education.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Music is like another language. I started teaching piano lessons as a hobby in Poland and Austria, but grew to love the field, to where I wanted to transform my hobby into a career. Currently I have been teaching for about 26 years.
