FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Meet with any instructor before signing up for lessons. Ask for a copy of their teaching philosophy and studio policy. Take a young student for a visit with the instructor. Understand that music lessons are fun and they should be, yet they also require a commitment to work independently at home which can be difficult at times. Make sure a child understands this commitment and is willing to practice routinely before beginning any music instruction. Try to find a teacher that offers a combination of private and group lessons and includes peer social activities in music learrning. Check references thoroughly.
