Jeanne did an amazing job officiating my wedding. She created a one of a kind ceremony that felt very personal. She also had no problems running the wedding rehearsal and was more than accommodating to my odd requests. She also did a great job reining in my wedding party. Only draw back was that she was late to the ceremony, she did call to let me know she was going to be late and it did give me more time for pictures though.Sep 20, 2015VerifiedWeddings In Washington/ High Alpine Chapel's reply
Thank you Kathleen for your lovely review. I was late due to traffic, as were many of the guests.I had allowed extra time to get to the venue but there was an accident which added to the heavy traffic delayed my arrival. I did call and made you aware of the problem. the wedding was delayed to accommodate guests who were also dealing with the traffic. After I arrived it was close to 45 minutes before the ceremony was ready to begin. I hope your honeymoon was everything you ever dreamed of. You are a beautiful couple!
We were so pleased with Jeanne Dembeck officiating over our wedding, she was on time, greeted each and every person in the wedding party, and very pleasant throughout. She has a good speaking voice and the vows we chose were delivered in a very calm and heart felt manner. I would be glad to recommend her to anyone.Jan 29, 2015Verified
Jeanne was awesome. She respected our wishes for a private ceremony and made our special day one to remember. If you are looking for a wedding officiant, I would highly recommend Jeanne, you won't be disappointed. Thank you again Jeanne!Jan 30, 2014VerifiedWeddings In Washington/ High Alpine Chapel's reply
Thank you for your kind words! I wish you a lifetime of happiness together.
If you decide to hire this officiant, you will want to get a backup plan. After committing to our date and one hour after sending the wedding contract to us, she sent me an email stating she is now going to marry someone else on our date. So disappointing and unprofessional!Sep 27, 2013VerifiedWeddings In Washington/ High Alpine Chapel's reply
I have apologized to Juliet for this and offered to give her the names of other officiants that would be happy to perform her wedding. Upon first bidding with Juliet I waited 10 days for a response, in the meantime I did bid on other requests. My contract clearly states that until I receive a signed contract with a deposit neither or the parties is committed. Immediately after I received a signed contract and deposit from a different bride I contacted Juliet. I understand planning a wedding is often a stressful time and I completely understand Juliets anger but she did not take me up on my offer for referrals. I wish her the best.
Jeanne was the officiant at me and my husband's May wedding. She did a great job putting together the ceremony and helping answer any questions we had. She made sure that the ceremony was exactly what we wanted and gave us some really great examples for vows (she also lets you make up your own). We highly recommend Jeanne as any wedding's officiant! Thank you, Jeanne!May 13, 2014Weddings In Washington/ High Alpine Chapel's reply

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to have a face to face meeting if possible but with schedules it does not always work out so I will email or phone and text couples interested in my services. When I am hired I like to give the couple sample vows, reading, rituals etc. so they can choose what fits them the best. I am always available for more meetings or calls throughout the process. As I have said earlier I believe that the ceremony needs and should be a reflection of the couple, it is not anyones place to say what or what not to do in their ceremony! I am happy to guide them and offer suggestions.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have been performing weddings for over 20 years.
- What types of customers have you worked with?My wedding officiant business is very rewarding. I work with such a variety of people and personalities. I truly enjoy making their ceremony one of a kind, whether it is an elopement, backyard wedding or black tie! When two people decide to make a life together it needs to be celebrated and respected in the tradition that they both are most comfortable in. Additionally I have a small chapel in Issaquah WA where I host weddings, memorial services and baby dedications. I also travel throughout Washington to perform these services. I have recently started doing home dedications/blessings!
