Why would I post this about painting? Because a lot of what goes into painting is not the painting. It's the prep. We pulled down light fixtures, smoke alarms, remove vents, remove switch plates, ect, (and make recommendations for replacement or batteries or bulbs or cleaning...if relevant) Don't all painters do that? No, Does it matter? For our clients it does. Our clients don't hire us because we are the cheapest or the fastest or because we will beat their other estimates by 10%...or because they got 3 bids and chose the middle one...or we can start tomorrow while we juggle three other jobs. Our clients hire us to be thorough, to pay attention to detail, to be neat and clean. To paint as well as we know how. To be courteous, professional and polite. To trust us with a key to their home. To not listen to loud, obnoxious, offensive music; not swear: not smoke. To help with colors and sheen and where to paint what colors, e.t.c... to partner with them in the process.
