Very pleased with the paint job performed by Vlad and his team. Was able to tackle the job quickly and did a thorough walkthrough with my wife and I, fixing or touching-up any spots that either of us found. I would/will definitely hire again for future painting projects.

The team at Vanhousing Painters are true - trained, experienced, thoughtful and skilled- professionals. All statements and recommendations made during the interview process about the order of various project tasks, potential complications, likely outcome of various approaches considered for some of the tricky elements proved accurate and valuable, and aided us greatly in the planning and budgeting process. Project scope: - 1200+ sf of walls, ceiling, trim and doors needed to be painted on a tight schedule as part of a larger remodel; - badly damaged front door needed to be restored and refinished - minor repairs to walls, ceilings, removal of storage/shelves Timeliness: the only reason the project took a little longer than planned was the fact that we kept adding work to the original scope; the team was always on time, worked with dedication and utmost care through some of the hottest days in July 2022; Quality, prep and cleanup: We had just had the floors refinished 4 days before the painting was due to begin. The Vanhousing team took care to cover the hardwoods expertly and use extra layers of padding under the ladders to protect the new finish; All surfaces were cleaned diligently, no garbage or debris were ever left on site after the work day had finished. Any blemishes I pointed out as the work progressed were remediated immediately. All walls, ceiling and trim look spectacular. Colors used: four (2 ceiling and trim, 2 walls) Paint used: Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams. A special shout-out to Hugo and Edgar who spent many hours working on the badly weather-damaged front door! It looks great. Budget, payments and communications: From the very first estimate through every change order and project modification, Vanguard Painters kept impeccable documentation. Our conversations were promptly translated into a proposal with the target milestones and estimated costs clearly listed. Vanguard were the highest of the three bids we obtained and were worth every penny. Thank you, gentlemen! We will hire you again.

We had all the trim and interior doors in our 3000 sq ft home painted. We were nervous because it was a huge job and we were unhappy with the last paint contractors we worked with. Vanhousing Painters did a great job! They gave us a competitive quote and they were really flexible about the start date for the project. They were easy to communicate with, sent updates at the end of each day sometimes with photos/videos, and they were able to finish almost a full day ahead of schedule. They hung our doors back up with new hardware which we decided to add last minute. During the final walkthrough they fixed everything that needed touching up and left our place as clean as can be expected. There was overspray on one wall that we didnt have the paint for and they came back within a week of the project concluding to paint it for us and make it right. We really appreciate all the hard work!!

My company used Vanhousing to do some upgrades to our retail showroom. I had three bidders come look at the work. Vanhousings estimator showed up on time, asked good questions, wasnt pushy, and seemed to legitimately care about understanding the scope and what we were looking to achieve.Their bid was competitive and I had a good deal of faith in their ability to provide a great experience given what Id read in other reviews.Vlad and his team ended up having to work through a multitude of challenges in order to deliver the end result that we enjoyed. I received constant professional communication (day, night, weekend) when things werent going well (outside of their control) and what they were doing to resolve. They thoroughly owned resolving each obstacle instead of pushing it back to me to work out. This involved buying different kinds of paint and performing tests -- I even got a video of the test results to illustrate my options.Its obvious that this company cares a great deal about providing 5 star experiences. Its that additional amount of work that they did which has me so enthusiastic about referring them to anyone needing painting done (commercial or residential.)
