I have been officiating weddings since 2017 and have learned that not every couple is looking for the grand over the top ceremony but they should still receive 5 star service! Through Thumbtack only I am offering my simplest services called the Sign & Celebrate. The couple brings along their valid marriage license and two witnesses and I get to marry them. No muss, no fuss! All signings take place in my studio, Sign and Celebrate, which is located in Downtown Tacoma.

We needed some papers Notarized with my parents (90's), and Cherise was extremely prompt with her replies and timeliness. She did a great review of the documents - got everything lined up (for the 6 of us). She double checked all the signatures and stamps when completed. She was also very punctual.

There are standards and then there is Cherise far above what we expected. The very first night we found her and messaged her, she replied within the hour. Since then and after she helped us tie the knot (ha!) she was always available and very responsive. While getting ready for the day, Cherise reached out to gather additional details from us, she used the information to customize her words and those were just perfect, including subtle details that were shared during our call that are very meaningful to us. She handed a very thoughtful care package afterwards with her hand written notes. Our ceremony took place at the coast. We needed to change our start time as the original plan shifted due to high tide in the area. Cherise adjusted without a problem. As the ceremony started, full rain came down and sideways, we did not stop. Cherise remained on course as she orchestrated our union enduring wind and very cold rain. Although a Pro Stylist/Make-up Artist, Photographer and Videographer tend to be the high-priced ticket items, your officiant should not be underestimated, this role is key, Cherise was the best choice we could have found and we are feeling very fortunate to have had her presence and energy during the entire process.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Officiating services: Simple signing only(within Pierce county): $175 Day of Ceremony (completely customized ceremony or elopement): $615 Hybrid option (pre-scripted, short & sweet) $350 *Travel fees & Late booking fees applied Notarizations: My fee is $15 per signature There is no additional travel fee within a 5 mile radius. Once that has been exceeded it is $1/mile

I am certified through Open Ministries and the National Notary Association.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am a wedding officiant and I noticed several of my couples were needing to have documents notarized after getting married so I decided to add that to my list of jobs.
