Celsey is doing a great job with my 11 year old daughter for piano lessons! Highly recommend!
Theresa is absolutely an amazing violin instructor! After taking violin lessons from many skilled instructors, I found Theresa very effective and engaging. She is great at teaching to both adults and children, and I'm so grateful to be one of her students:))
Andi is very warm, welcoming and just a very pleasant person. She is skilled at teaching violin, and pays attention to the small details of teaching a beginner, from proper stance to perfect instrument placement. She is also very reasonably priced. 5 stars!
Sarah provided viola instruction for my daughter through her 5th and 6th grade years. Beyond being an exceptional musician, the thing that really stood out was that Sarah worked to make a connection with my daughter. She found ways to teach her that followed her interests, integrating technique in ways that felt fun and encouraging creativity and exploration with her music. We were very sad when Sarah moved to her new home but happy to have had her as an instructor.
I learned more from Bryn in 30 minutes (about special hacks in playing the Violin) than I did in 5 years as a youngster trying to play the thing in Jr. High and High School (a million years ago). Maturity has it's benefits, and so does a good Violin tutor. Maybe, just maybe, I CAN play this thing!
Katie is a wonderful teacher! I am an adult student with no experience with the violin, and she has helped me to feel at ease and truly enjoy the process of learning to play this beautiful instrument. I have made an incredible amount of progress in three months. She is knowledgeable, collaborative, and fun to work with.
Im provided with private violin lessons and I feel really grateful to have Kimmy as a teacher. She really relates to you on a level seldom teachers do. She's very supportive and laid back yet pushes you to improve too. No complaints! :)
Awesome! Great teacher and great vibes there. See drastic improvement in playing and discipline already! Highly recommended!!
Thanks Jessica for teaching our 2 kids. She offers violin lessons for older one and piano lessons for the younger one. We had lots of trouble with our previous teachers. Jessica knows how to deal with them not practicing and help them set goals for their music learning. Our 2 kids also have different personality and talent level and she seems to tailor her style accordingly. I would recommend her as a piano and violin teacher.
“Both my kids have been learning violin with Ms. Heather for more than a year. They have made tremendous progress and have developed passion and commitment towards music. The total credit goes to the teacher and the Suzuki methodology that she uses. She is very committed, amazingly good with kids, very patient and encouraging. She works closely with kids as well as parents. The weekly group lesson, which is included, is key to my kids sustained interest. They are always looking forward to learning the next songs when they hear their peers play. She doesn't hold back from teaching more during her private lessons if one is well prepared. She organizes concerts for kids during each season. My kids are always excited to perform in public and hence practicing happens naturally. She also makes sure the parents get a platform to meet other Suzuki parents through the yearly Suzuki festival and concerts. With other violin teacher I have tried for my kids, there was a total lack of connect with the methodology as well as the teacher. Now, my kids remind me to be taken to the violin lessons. When this happens to you as a parent, you know you have found the right teacher and we are happy to have found Ms. Heather.”
She designs her approach to the individual student and is equally comfortable teaching classical score reading and folk tune ear learning. From her own extensive performance and teaching experience, she understands how to inspire confidence and knows just how far students can and should be challenged. After having had a wide variety of music lessons as both a child and an adult, I have been so pleased to have found the perfect teacher at last.
Keith is friendly, knowledgeable and demonstrates patience while teaching guitar to a 7 year old beginner. Our son is having fun learning to play and we like the convenience of having the lessons in our home.
Ananta is an exceptional violin teacher. She's patient, professional and fun. She starts from the ground up, leaving her students with a lifetime of great habits. She has given my daughter a love for music that will last a lifetime and you can't put a price on that! Ananta is amazing in her own right, making students want to practice so they can be as amazing as her someday. I highly recommend her for any student at any age. You don't come across a music teacher like her everyday.
Jenny is a great teacher. She loves what do and she transfer her love to music/violin to her students. She is very flexible with make ups, which helps a lot.
I'm the best guitarist on this planet. If you know someone better, then tell me.
I help prepare students for symphony, school orchestra auditions and other pieces they wish to work on. I also provide writing and SAT tutoring.
I offer guitar, piano and violin lessons to ages three to adult. I have been teaching for 25 years. I know that learning styles must be addressed for each student to be successful. I see every person as unique and important. I derive great joy from helping others learn to play music!
We provide pre-k music lessons. Plus, piano, guitar, drums, bass, ukulele, and violin lessons. Group classes are also available.
Experience is key! I have been teaching private lessons for 14 years and teach almost 50 students a week. I feel confident in my program and will help you learn the most for your time and money.
I teach violin, voice, theory and music history lessons. I teach beginners to intermediate levels.
I teach at a studio in Seattle's University District. I teach students ages 3-18 of all levels. I particularly enjoy working with younger students. I teach mostly using the Suzuki method, but also supplement with other materials. I believe that learning music and playing the violin should be both challenging and rewarding. I work with each student to set and achieve their individual goals. I believe in creating a warm and positive environment for students and parents. I expect students (and parents) to be willing and able to do daily practice for the best results.
