Sylvia is a very talented at what she does as a dog trainer she takes the tools she has and makes it so simple for you to understand on what needs to be done to train your 🐕 the very first command she did with my dog on walking next to you and not tugging you like most dogs do and she tells l you why they do that and explained everything she is truly a great dog trainer if you think about getting your dog trained you need to call Sylvia and let her show you how to train your pet she really knows her stuff.
We had a great experience with Martha. We hired her because we are expecting a new baby and wanted to work on a few behavioral issues with our dog, primarily barking, jumping up and getting him used to the idea of having a baby in the house. She really knew what she was doing and we felt comfortable trusting her with our dog. She spent about 5 hours with us in total. It was a bit of an information overload at first and we were afraid we would forget a bunch of stuff, but thankfully she recorded the entire session and provided us with a copy via cassette tape. We were able to transcribe the cassettes to our computer so we now have a digital copy that we can listen to anytime. We've been taking things day by day since she left and working with our dog. I think if we keep with it we'll make a lot of progress. She provides free follow up calls afterwards as well in case we have more questions or get discouraged. We feel very confident that she provided us with all the tools we need to be successful. We would highly recommend her to anyone searching for an effective dog trainer.
Ada was prompt in responding to my initial request for dog trainers near my home and after discussing what needs to be accomplished explained what she believed would be necessary and how much it would cost giving me the opportunity to talk it over with my daughter (the dog's real owner) who will get back with me tomorrow about the degree of commitment to help pay for the service. Ada kindly accepted the delay and pleasantly offered the suggestion that if it didn't work out just now she would be happy to help whenever we were ready. So, I already know we are going to hire her because she is so flexible and considerate regarding our circumstances and needs.
Leashed Seattle is an excellent dog walking service. Robert comes to my apartment in Kirkland and walks my dog for 30 minutes. Sometimes I pay a bit more and her takes her to an off leash dog park for an hour. Robert is really easy to reach by cell and email. He always fits us into the schedule, even when I make changes the day before. The best part of his service, and probably what sets Leashed Seattle apart from others is the email I get after every walk/park session. It includes a map of distance covered, photos of the dog in action and customized notes. So happy I found them! There's also a discount if you buy a block of walks in advance.
Cindy Wilson did a fabulous job with assisting me with training my dog,Hershey . She was well prepared with handouts to support and supplement her instruction. I highly recommend Cindy as a dog trainer! She loves dogs and strives to assist her clients to be successful with their pets.
Patti is amazing! She gave me practical tips on training my dogs and gave me insight into how their minds work. She showed me processes to help me work with them and gave me hope that I will be able to train them properly. She saw my dogs as loving, sweet and good dogs - like I do! Even just 24 hrs later I see a marked difference in their listening and wanting to change direction! I have 2 mastiffs and needed someone to come to my home since it wasn't possible to take them both somewhere by myself for training and she was able to do that. Patti is kind and gentle and I am so thankful for her help! I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
OMG- GREAT! Cheryl was the third trainer for my dog. 1st trainer: Said my dog was aggressive and would not work with him until put in 3 weeks of work. 2nd trainer: said my dog was reactive, was willing to work with me, however was on travel for 6 weeks. Cheryl: day one (eval) was growled at by my dog- but was super duper patience and was able to PET him by the end of the session! We started with 4 personal sessions for me and my dog (to keep everyone safe and be smart). Two session in - I was able to move to classes! We are have passed obedience level 1 and are now on to obedience 2 and agility and still WOW! I have an awesome dog that I am proud of. Also, I am a better paw-rent for the training i have received. I shopped around for trainer-- learn from me and go with the Zoom Room!!
Our experience with Latony's Dog Training so far has been exceptional! Very responsive, very professional and very compassionate toward dogs. During our initial meeting they focused on learning exactly what we are looking for in training our dog and are helping us to created a long-term plan. We can't wait to get started on this process!
I started training with Jessica in December (2014) and I am crazy about her! I have never had good luck with personal trainers, they never seemed to sincerely care about me and my success. But Jessica is truly one of a kind. She is excited about the workout, and that is contagious! She modifies the workout based on my capabilities and never ever makes me feel bad or like a failure for needing the modifications. She sets the bar extremely high, expects you to clear it and encourages you the entire time. I find myself wanting to work harder and push myself harder just to make her proud! She is the best, you won't be sorry when you sign up with her.
I was very specific with the issue I wanted addressed with our German Shepard and Alex did not fail to deliver! He gave us solid answers and suggestions and truly knows his way with dogs. I wound not hesitate to use him in the future and highly recommend him as a trainer.
I call Melinda the Dog Whisperer! She has a very calming effect on all animals and you can see she is very experienced in taking care of dogs. She took great care of my old cocker spaniel while I was away for 2 weeks and she was happy and healthy when I got back. She's an old dog and Melinda has lots of experience with her own older dogs so this made me feel very secure with leaving my pup in her care. I would recommend Melinda in a heartbeat!
Julie's knowledge and expertise were evident from the clear instructions she provided to me and the way she interacted with my Husky-Mal mix, Koda. Koda would go crazy whenever she encountered other dogs when we took our walks, so I sought Julie's help in finding ways to deal with those situations, as well as ways to help introduce her to known friendly dogs. She brought her dogs (Malamutes) to assess Koda's reactivity and we worked on exercises to divert her attention and to gradually approach and greet her dog in a more controlled manner. She also showed me how to prevent Koda from jumping up when greeting people and tips on training her to greet people politely. I've been practicing what I learned with Koda and her behavior has definitely improved. I'd recommend Julie/Learning 4 Life Dog Training to anyone looking for training and practical advice using positive reinforcement.
Angelica was excellent. Everything I hoped a dog walker would be, and more. She connected well with my dogs and they loved her. She sent me daily reports and pictures by texting. The work Angelica did was out standing!
I am 110% satisfied with Vivians care of my pets while I was on vacation! She was courteous, punctual, reliable, obviously knowledgeable and just a real sweetheart! My pups and I liked her immediately! She even got my "shy" dog to actually leave the yard and go for a walk! I haven't been able to get her to willingly do that! Thank you, Vivian! She sent me periodic status updates and pictures! When I got home she took time to "educate" me on some techniques for continuing the training she had done with my shy dog and she will be coming back for further training sessions! I am grateful I found Vivian and will highly recommend her to friends and family! Thank you Vivian from me and Autumn, and Summer, and Dinah!
Janet was a pleasure to work with! She came to our home to help us manage our dogs fear/phobia that was progressively getting worse. She had great ideas that we would have never thought of and helped us practice and refine some training techniques. She even helped us with our other dog and issues we hadn't planned on dealing with in that session. She answered all our questions and made sure we felt good about everything before she left. Highly recommend working with Janet who clearly loves animals and is good at what she does.
Christy was wonderful and helped me with puppy training, my anxieties, and has helped us to learn to read our puppy's needs and what behaviors to expect at this age.
he was so good with my dogs they would bark at everyone and make them frightened but he was able to almost communicate with them it was just a sight to see
I am a student, so I am always looking for extra work that does not interfere with school. I started just doing this work for family members when they left town and then the word got out and began doing it for family friends and so on.
We walk all types of dogs from Monday to Friday. We love helping animals, and we would love to take your dog for a walk.
