Cheryl Did a great job helping my wife and progress beyond our current skillsets. My wife needed more help with her basics and getting comfortable with painting and I was ready for a little more advanced things. I would recommend Cheryl to anyone who is looking for good one on one or group painting lessons!

We hired her for face painting, and she was able to do Henna as well. Very friendly with all the kids, and was able to do special request designs. I will definitely be booking Creative Hands Studio again for our next party!

Tamara did a live mural painting during our daughter's wedding reception. She was an absolute delight and did a great deal of prep work, learning our vision for the mural, researching the venue so she could capture and juxtapose the inside and outside of the venue in her mural. She took photos of the bride and groom at the beginning of the evening and by the end of the evening we had beautiful finished mural. Our guests enjoyed watching her work and the bride and groom have a beautiful keepsake from their wedding.

I absolutely loved working with Janet. I am a fairly shy person, and though I have the passion to try new things, I rarely have the courage to do so. My first few lessons, where scary for me, I could barely muster up the courage put my paintbrush on the paper, because I was terrified of "doing it wrong", or making a mistake. But Janet was so kind and loving, and very very patient with me. After just a couple lessons with her, I really felt comfortable and at peace. I really can't say enough good things about her! She's wonderful.

Patrick has helped me become a much more accomplished artist. He is a truly professional artist and a great teacher. My art lessons on the past have never been this successful, because those teaching were poor instructors.

Mari was a wonderful addition to our event. We hired her to live paint during a charity event and used the painting as an auction item. Her work was extraordinary and everyone walking by wanted to be THE ONE to get to take her work home. I look forward to working with Mari again in the future.

I took a 6 week oil painting workshop from Edd and learned a great deal, it really advanced my painting to the next level, the workshop was fun, interesting, easy to understand and went at just the right pace, I learned so many things that I never could have figured out on my own. He is an amazing artist and I am thrilled to learn his techniques. I would highly recommend him to all.

I wasn't sure what to expect the first time I tried intuitive painting but Nadine has very helpful and understanding of my hesitation. So I just picked up the brush and began. It is a exciting and wonderful process and requires no art experience. I have been doing this type of painting for over a year now and every time is a new experience for me. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to let the inner child come out and play and at the same time get a glimpse into who they truly are. The studio is a high energy, fun loving space in which to let yourself be free. I can't wait till my next session. Thanks Nadine for bringing this great art studio and insightful process to our area!!

Feed your soul! Time spent with art of any kind is therapy for the heart and soul. Tenth Muse Studio creates a relaxing, encouraging and stimulating environment to explore and create from Zentangle to painting to pottery. Its owner and creator, Heidi Jo Mafi, is competent and knowledgable while also nurturing and able to coax even the most hidden talents from those who spend time with her. Surrounded by tall trees in a beautiful, natural setting, it is without a doubt, on of my favorite places to spend time.

I have been taking lessons from her since 2011. I started as a complete novice, no prior experience in painting or any systematic art training. She emphasizes the importance of values, and, once a student masters it, moves onto other aspects of paintings: key, temperature, hue, composition, etc. She wouldn't be giving you a lip service, she would give you a real fundamental training, and beyond if you wish to continue. I feel extremely lucky that I met her, for that I could not afford going to full time atelier or university. If you want to build a solid foundation, I highly recommend her.

Sandra worked with me on a design and painting of a ceramic tile for our front door at our vacation condo. She was patient and helpful in completing the work to my highest expectations.
