FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Houses vary as to size and construction. Usually there is a standard or set fee for cleaning. But some older homes may require that I be paid by the hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I arrive at the job site at the scheduled time. The owner shows me the rooms and areas that need to be cleaned. A general but not too specific order is decided upon, starting in a particular room or part of the dwelling. Particular attention to something or place, and begin working. Usually they choose to stay there, at least for the first day, to make certain that it is clean enough and "feels right".
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have experience cleaning in factories, private homes and businesses. I have experience working for a public cleaning company known as "Eileen's Home Office and Carpet Cleaning" here in Olympia, Washington; I have also worked as a house keeper in Hotels and motels in different cities where I have lived. I also have some experience working in Senior Care Homes in this area.
