Tribal Guys started out great with good communication, being very responsive. However, exactly 1 week out from the date of the job of moving our hot tub 2.5 miles away, they reached out and tried to increase the already approved and agreed upon rate by $250. They stated that they did not consider the size of my hot tub and needed more equipment and people. I did provide very good details and pictures of the job and hot tub up front stating that it was a very large hot tub. And before I could respond to the increased demands of money, they turned around and canceled my job quoting safety hazards without even consulting me in person. I feel like they really put me in a jam given that with less then a week to plan now to move my hot tub, there is no way I will find someone with an opening this late now. I booked this jobs weeks ago and am now left with a job that I am not sure how I will make happen. One of the worst business practices I have had to deal with in a very long time. I would look to use someone else for your job.

Hello Grant, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We apologize for the inconvenience and would like to clarify the reason we cancelled your appointment with us. We messaged you yesterday explaining potential changes to your request and quote. A week out. We followed up today with another message and multiple phone calls, which were sent to voicemail. I even provided you a link for another vendor who specializes in hot tub move. I believe we gave ample time for you to make adjustments. Yet, no response from you. The cancellation is in fact due to safety concerns. We will not sacrifice safety for a profit or under any circumstances for that matter. The safety of your property and my company is our main concern. You did provide detailed description of the Hot Tub and instructions of the move, and we overlooked the measurements which we take full responsibility for not quoting you accurately like we said we would the first time. We booked you in about a week ago, not weeks. You approved the quote on April 1st. It’s unfortunate that you felt it was necessary to disclaim our effort to make this process safe and a low risk as much as possible for both party. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Safety is our main and top priority. Our prices are based on the space you fill on our 6x12 trailer + truck. Included in our prices is dump fees. We can negotiate the price but only if it makes sense. You’re paying for experience, high-quality work and professionalism. Quote + Gas Mileage
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Gail their trust and collect detail of the job request. Ask for images of the job to determine if need to conduct a FREE on-site estimate or not. Collect the customer information i.e (full name, address, email etc) Write and estimate and send it via email or text for approval. Once approved we schedule a date and time based on what’s available on our calendar and what would work best for the customer. Follow up with customer the day prior as a reminder and communicate arrival time, start and finish time. Provide invoice, complete payment and provide receipt.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are fully licensed and insured as well as experienced junk removal specialists.
