FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The first class of each student is a trial and introduction session which goes longer than 30 minutes and it's free of charge. For students who decide to take the next step, I offer three different class durations depending on their level and capability. I charge $35for a half-hour, $45 for 45 minutes, and $60 for a full hour lesson. The payment can be done either at the beginning of the month or per class. In a case of an unexpected cancellation, I work with my students' schedule to arrange a makeup session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At the very start, I like to take the time to speak both with my student and the parents, since most of my students are children. For this, I organize a free introductory 30-minute session. During this session, I will sit down with the student and parent to better understanding their objectives and provide a deeper explanation of how I teach music and work with my students. We will also work on a couple of easy music pieces during this first session to see if we are a good fit for each other.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been teaching for more than 20 years. I have attended and trained at the Austrian Cultural Council. I am also certified by The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and Trinity College London.
