I am a current college and youth soccer coach having worked in both divisions 1 and 2.
I grew up on the East Coast playing for various US youth national teams before gaining a scholarship to play soccer at the University of Maryland, where I appeared in a final four and won an NCAA Division 1 National Championship. After college, I was drafted by Real Salt Lake of MLS and signed my first professional contract.
I then played professionally in Sweden before retiring due to injury and became the assistant coach at the United States Military Academy -- West Point.
I am very familiar with the development process and training habits needed to play at the highest level or ways to improve physical, mental, tactical, and technical ability.
