- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As the owner of Trinitron Garage Doors, I bring a decade of specialized training and hands-on experience in the garage door industry, starting in Las Vegas and continuing in Seattle since relocating a year and a half ago. My journey began with comprehensive on-the-job training, learning the intricacies of garage door repair, installation, and maintenance. As a Navy veteran, I developed discipline, precision, and problem-solving skills that I apply to every project. Fully licensed, bonded, and insured, I stay updated on industry best practices to deliver reliable, high-quality service to our Seattle community.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a proud Navy veteran, I discovered my knack for hands-on work and problem-solving during my service. After transitioning to civilian life, I began learning the garage door trade in Las Vegas, where I spent a decade mastering the craft. From troubleshooting complex spring systems to installing sleek new doors, I found joy in fixing problems and connecting with customers. After moving to Seattle a year and a half ago, I brought my expertise to the Pacific Northwest, launching Trinitron Garage Doors in 2025. Now, as a licensed, bonded, and insured business, I’m dedicated to delivering top-notch service with a personal touch, solving garage door challenges for our community.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
At Trinitron Garage Doors, we recently tackled a challenging garage door spring replacement for a family in Renton, WA. The door was stuck halfway, causing frustration for the homeowners. Drawing on our 10 years of experience, we quickly diagnosed a broken torsion spring and worked closely with the family to explain the issue and our solution. The job required precision to safely replace the spring and restore smooth operation. Seeing the relief on their faces and knowing we solved their problem same-day made this project especially rewarding.
