Unlike another handyman we had contacted earlier (and he didn't even show up) Mr.FixThat was very responsive, SUPER punctual and good at his job. He fixed our doors quick, and the bidet we wanted him to help install was a big trouble. The bidet was not compatible with the toilet seat. He spent a lot of time trying to fix it with the available parts and tools, then he ran to stores and couldn't find it (pandemic troubles!). He was persistent enough to look it up online and find the part on Amazon, buy it for us and come back to fix it. After all he was very fair in charging us. Definitely we will directly call him next time we need a handyman.

I highly recommend Mr FixThat ! Easy to work with, professional and he does fix it all from smoke detector, to light fixtures, tv Mount and squeaky doors + did our windows screens as well, all for a very fair price.

We needed a toilet replaced in our home. Craig was very responsive and arrived on time. His work ethic and professionalism were exemplary. He handled the job quickly, and cleaned up nicely including the haul away of the old toilet. A great value for the services rendered. Highly recommend!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is done by the hour. I charge a minimum of $150 in most cases for the first two hours. After that time is pro-rated by the minute.
Any project that will last more than 8 hrs can be bid at a non-hourly rate. Materials are not included. I do not mark up materials, any that are bought will come with a receipt as proof of cost so you know you are being charged only for materials.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After quoting job pricing I will schedule time and date for work to be done with you, the client. One day before the work is scheduled I will call or message you to confirm. The day of our appointment I will call or text when I am en route to the project location. I will speak with you further before beginning work to clear up any lingering questions you have about the process. I am always mindful that I am in YOUR home, but I will treat it with all the care I show my own home.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken many classes on the subjects of HVAC, Appliance repair, renovations, minor electrical, minor plumbing,and painting. My on the job experience spans 14 years and is of course my most valuable source of education
