FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are reasonable and less that many therapists in the area. I currently take Regence and Beacon Health Insurances and will assist in billing Out of Network Insurance companies as needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Potential clients are recommended to have an initial phone conversation to answer questions about cost, availability, and therapist "fit" for counseling. Clients attend an initial intake counseling session in which reasons for therapy are examined and personal and relational strengths are evaluated to obtain goals for therapy. Ongoing sessions work best when a consistent weekly or bi-weekly times for meeting can be arranged.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Licensed Marriage and family Therapist. I attended the University of Washington (Go Dawgs) and Antioch University of Seattle. I participate in ongoing ethics and educational opportunities to retain professional standards for licensing and to assist in the understanding and utilization of new types of mental health/relationship therapies.
