Introduction: At Mark Athletics Rx we empower a healthy lifestyle through nutrition, training, and coaching. Providing 1-on-1 training while complying to COVID-19 guidelines designed to make you feel safe as you reach your goals. Located at a private facility called “Seattle Training Zone” in the Newcastle/Renton area. I’ve been passionate about health and fitness since when I was a kid. I started my journey with martial arts, then college sports, and ultimately fitness competitions. My journey allowed me to nurture my competitive nature and helped me embrace a growth mindset with whatever I do. Volunteering for the fire service in Arizona for over four years helped me uncover a devotion towards helping others. When I combined that devotion with my passion for health and fitness, it led me to my calling and fueled me to become a top fitness professional. Don’t be fooled; I wasn’t always in the best shape. Growing up, I was a skinny teen looking to put on size. It wasn’t until I studied human biology and nutrition that I understood how nutrition plays a critical part in human body development and performance. Since then, I’ve been using what I learned to coach others and help them unlock their full potential. No matter where you are in your health and fitness journey, I invite you to be a part of Mark Athletics Rx and allow me to do what I love: to help you achieve your fitness goals and live your best life.

Just getting started with Coach Nick! He’s been responsive to my inquires from jump! Constantly motivates throughout the session. He’s been accommodating to my schedule. And most importantly, he customizes the workouts that fit for you. He takes notes of where your strength and agility are and builds off of that so you’re not taking on more than you can handle, but enough where you are getting a workout. He makes sure you’re doing ok in between workouts. He also is able to help you with nutrition and is willing to guide you in what you need to do in order to reach your goals. Can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Nicolas professionalism and work ethic really shows when working with his clients. I really like the customized programs that nick was able to create for my personal workouts and body goals.   • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I offer two different price structures with 60 or 30 min sessions. Depending on fitness goals and client availability. 60min- $95/session 30min: $50/session Note: Each new client will receive a complementary 60 min consultation to discuss your health & fitness goals along w/ an initial assessment to measure movement and strength levels which will allow me to understand how we will reach your goals most effectively. *Pricing will very for at home training depending on location and training frequency.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    First session is a complementary 60 min consultation to discuss your health and fitness goals. Includes exercise history and background, dietary restrictions, injury history, interests/hobbies, limitations, etc. It will also include an initial assessment to measure your movement and strength levels allowing me to measure imbalances or limitations. With this information I will be able to recommend and individualize the best plan to reach your goals most effectively.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I am a Certified Personal Trainer with The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). I have 8+ years of experience in the Health & Fitness Industry. Specialty Certifications: NASM: Corrective Exercise Specialist NASM: Behavioral Change Specialist NASM: Group Personal Training Specialist Pain-Free Performance Specialist Certification Additionally, I am First-Aid, CPR and AED certified.
