I’ve tried all the flavors of the month diets as well as programs like weight watchers plus many DVD exercise programs and fitness apps. I thought the formula to losing weight was to burn more calories than you take in and exercise. I watched what I ate and worked out at the gym, an hour of cardio and an hour of weight training six days a week. I did not lose any fat but my doctor says I was in great shape. Only thing is I’m not in the shape I wanted to be. Out of frustration I decided to really cut the calories and get the show on the road. I went on a fast determined to drop the weight. At first I felt good and was losing weight. However as the weeks rolled on I got so cold and weak I had to end the fast far from my weight lose goal. The horrifying results were my BMI went from 33% to 39%. I had fourteen inch biceps at the start that shrunk to ten inches by the time I stopped the fast. What is worse, I really messed up my metabolism. Anything over twelve hundred calories and I gain weight. Anything under, there is no weight lose. My only hope was to try and stave off future weight gain through very couscous eating and except I was not going to ever lose any of the 39% BMI. You know the saying you don’t know what you don’t know. I’ve been at this stalemate for fifteen years and saw no resolution until Amber started working with me four months ago. With Amber’s knowledge and insight she has helped me construct a program of diet, exercise and a commitment to the process. Unfortunately I had an accident and tore my MCL and ACL in the first week that Amber started working with me. I thought I was dead in the water. Amber coached me to keep on with my commitment and do what I can at a lower level. Then a month and a half ago another injury, I tore my rotator cuff at work. My exercise has been hindered for sure, but that is temporary. Amber says the biggest part of fitness starts in the kitchen. So we are still moving forward. Amber is very dedicated and passionate and on the cutting edge of health and physical fitness. Amber not only teaches it, she lives it. She eats right and trains with consistence for the Triathlon. She is an inspiration to me to keep on going in the face of each setback. Amber has customized a program for me and with that I have achieved what I would have thought was the impossible. So far, I’ve had eighteen pounds of weight lose and I’m not losing muscles. She is guiding me through the tricky task of resetting my metabolism, rebuilding muscles and eating right. She is very supportive and encouraging in the process. With Amber’s weekly coaching she keeps me on track. It’s the development of a new lifestyle that is working. I am so thrilled that I’m not stuck in the no possibility realm I lived in for the past fifteen years. Thank you Amber.

I have Amber to thank for my new muscles! Without her sweet, creative encouragement and guidance I would not have believed I could be excited about getting a routine that would help me get stronger as I get older. Amber is excellent. She is very aware of body positioning and proper stance, she makes sure that you are aligning your body properly to avoid injury. She makes you work hard, but allowing for adequate rest. A full body workout, including cardio. Plus, Amber has a great personality.
