FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Elementary School. Lion King. I wanted to be a voice actor and do cartoons. In High School, I decided to just try acting and joined my theater program for all four years, which then bled over into college. I dabbled with graphics and other aspects of visual production and from there fell in love with the storytelling aspects, specifically Cinematography, which is camera, lighting, and set design.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do a lot of web videos. A LOT of web videos. It's the biggest and still the fastest growing field for someone like me.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Come prepared: 1. What do you want to shoot? (You would be surprised how often people want me to choose the song or product for the video. You should not trust me to make decisions for your company or personal project, I only know film and video, not which song or product will be most popular) 2. Do you have an idea for the video or are you looking to me to come up with something? 3. Have a general understanding of the scale and scope of the video. (Whether that means researching budgets of previous videos or giving me an example video, I need to know what I'm walking into so I can prepare accordingly and give a more accurate estimate)
