I hired Sara for my wedding rehearsal brunch (October 4) to serve mimosas. Our venue required us to have a licensed bartender in attendance to serve alcohol. I communicated that we needed to provide the liquor license to the venue.
On September 2, I requested a copy of Sara's license and received a response that day that she would scan and email it. I didn't receive it by 9/17 so I requested again and received an almost immediate response I would get it that evening. On 9/22 after still not receiving the license I asked again and received no response. My venue wanted things in by Monday 9/29 and I requested to have a copy by Friday 9/26 to make sure we had no issues. On 9/24 I requested a final time for the license or to please let me know if they were unable to provide the agreed to services. I never received a response and at this point it was too late to find an alternate.
It's really awful to blow a client off like that, especially over their wedding events when they have so many things to deal with. I would never recommend Sara to work someone's events.
