- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge by the month for weekly lessons. The customer can set up automatic payment online. However, students can pay per lesson if they prefer. It is also possible to meet only once or twice a month. I like to be able to accommodate any schedule or budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BMus. from the Oberlin Conservatory and a MMus. from the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started teaching as a part time job in 1996. I quickly discovered that I liked it better than my full time job! I have been teaching full time ever since.
