Jorge and his crew worked hard to meet our deadlines, they were all friendly, did good work, and followed up with punch list items and finished the job. I used them for drywall, painting, and tile. I will hire them again.
We are really happy with the performance and quality of the work that Hawaiian Construction, LLC performed for our fire rebuilt home in Sammamish! The owner Robert and his team did a great job within the time line. Robert had negotiated with our insurance company many times and doubled our original costs to insure that all repairs were completed properly the first time and brought it up to code. They upgraded our cabinetry and Granite Counter tops without additional costs. The cabinets that were originally there was Particle Board Type or avg. Cabinets. We got High Grade Plywood Box Cabinets. So if there is ever a water leak these cabinets should not get damaged and they will dry out. If they were what was there Particle Board type of cabinets, they would swell up and need to then be replaced. The Granite Counter Tops which was upgraded to the 1-1/4" thick slab type of stone versus the 3/4" type that was there and Robert also included all Granite tops in all bathrooms with under mounted sinks which we had just laminate counter tops and surface mounted sinks in. Robert did a lot of upgrades which includes the exterior deck as well, he never gave up on our house and made sure everything was replaced including the Furnace and all the duct work when the insurance company just wanted to clean it up, we also got all new flooring and all new siding on the home. Robert upgraded the flooring in the Kitchen, family Room area to engineered Flooring when we had Laminate Type flooring, new tile at entry and fireplace. Robert did get the insurance company to replace the entire roof system because of the faulty truss system which the insurance did not want to do until Robert told them that he would bring in a engineer to prove what he found out, then to work with the adjuster who was under half of what it should of been to complete the job. If you ever have a claim, there is no doubt you can count on Robert who has your best interest in his mind at all times! We sincerely appreciate all your hard work and dedication, Robert!
The best. The Best. The Very Best. My experience with most contractors has not been favorable. James always arrives on-time and hits the ground running. There is no dilly dallying. The quality of the work is excellent. He's always pleasant, professional, and calm even when I spilled paint on the new kitchen tile floor and its grout. Very reasonably priced. Should I ask for work to be done that is not actually necessary he will advise. Additionally, he'll present an alternative approach when appropriate, which is always profoundly cheaper and better. Collaborative. He's knocked off at least 20 items on my To Do list of big and small jobs from painting, carpentry, cabinetry, light plumbing, light fixtures, and handyman. Excellent workmanship. Now we're working on kitchen cabinets to be followed with wood floor installation. I am so fortunate that he was referred to me and I just cannot say enough good things of him. Lastly, he is in the Reserve, which for me carries weight.
We hired John and Kevin to take out our old kitchen right down to the subflooring and to put in a new kitchen including cabinets, countertops, ceramic tile floor, tile backsplash, range hood with duct work through ceiling and roof, all new appliances with all the associated plumbing and electrical. John and Kevin are a one-stop shop; they know how to do it all and do it to perfection. The only part of the kitchen that they did not do themselves was to install the quartz countertops. That made life simple for us. Moreover, we counted a lot on their experience and expertise in the design of our kitchen, especially the selection of materials. The result was a much better outcome than we would have had otherwise. What we most appreciated about John and Kevin is that they took the opportunity provided by the kitchen remodel to correct longstanding plumbing and electrical problems in the basement below the kitchen, upstairs above, and in the dining/living room. This saved us money (not having to hire someone else for that additional work) and eliminated the need to break into walls outside one kitchen wall. John and Kevin were very attuned to our desires and made suggestions along the way that allowed the project to proceed smoothly, swiftly and keeping costs down. Overall, great job!
Deonte did a good job painting and tiling in my new home. He's so honest
Mike was a pro on our house project (wall removal and installation of a beam). Completed the work on time and did exactly what was requested. A job well done, thanks Mike! Until next time, Casey
Andy did some work to my Moms Condo, in the late 2010. We were extremely pleased with his knowledge level, work ethic and especially the end result. The kitchen tile, general plumbing instillation and finishing work was wonderful. Andy has an artists flair when it comes to design work and we especially enjoyed the tile pattern he created for our Mom above the stove. Thanks, Andy!
Professional and pleasant team removed kitchen appliances and old linoleum for install of ceramic tile. Reasonable price, fast, efficient and excellent outcome.
We wanted to replace the wainscoting in our bathroom with subway tile as the wainscoting was water damaged. Marin and his crew came in and worked on our project which had a lot of variable factors as usually happens when working on an old 1912 house. He was able to adapt to the factors such as uneven floors and walls and did a nice job installing the tile, repainting the walls and reinstalling the bathroom fixtures. He and his crew were always courteous, professional, and always cleaned up afterwards. The project was done in a week as Marin had quoted. We are happy with the new bathroom tiles and as with all remodeling projects in older homes being adaptable to the situation is always a plus. We would recommend European Quality Remodeling Services for other remodeling projects as well.
We had Chad remove the plain tile backsplash is our kitchen and replace it with very detailed travertine with inlaid glass pieces. He was extremely professional and the job turned out exactly as we had envisioned. Best of all he was meticulous in his clean up and protection of our other surfaces. When he left it was like he was never there. I highly recommend Chad and his team. His work is outstanding.
Brock is an excellent craftsman who does high quality work. He completed two projects for us, one was a master bathroom remodel. This included removal and replacement of a shower surround, reconfiguration and replacement of the counter top and tiling around soaker tub. The second project was in another bathroom, removing the existing surround then tiling around the tub. He is very detail oriented and stayed within the budget we had set for our projects. We had a tight timeframe for the tiled/tub project and Brock completed it before our needed deadline. We had a vision of what we wanted, Brock made excellent recommendations and turned our vision into a reality. Brock is also honest, trustworthy and communicates well--everything you would want in a contractor.
I am so pleased with CuttingEdge. The tile work was beautiful, they communicated every step of the way, protected my home with carpet runners, cleaned up all work at the end of every day, and left things just as they were. I will be hiring them again!
Efficient. Timely. Thorough. Design Savvy. Honest. Any of the above words would be a perfect description for Brock and his crew. After being burned by previous contractors, we were hesitant to reach out to anyone when we realized our shower was leaking into the kitchen below. Taking a leap of faith, we contacted Sound Tile & Grout. Brock answered the phone immediately and set up an estimate for the very next day. Upon his visit, he confirmed the tile was beyond saving (as we feared!) and presented some tile design ideas. The pricing seemed fair - a significant discount on the tile was offered to my husband and I if we were to pick up the tile ourselves, which was a welcome savings! After we approved the project, we were scheduled about two weeks out. The start date was never postponed, which I am very grateful for as I have a very tight schedule. Things moved pretty quick! The first day involved Brock and an assistant removing and preparing the shower in anticipation for the tile setter who was to arrive the next day. The tile setter was very kind, I felt no reason to feel uncomfortable when I left him alone for a few hours to run some errands. The actual tile work itself is immaculate - the tile setter is a true artist. Our shower was completed in a matter of days. During this time, Brock visited the tile setter several times to ensure there were no issues and that everything was running smoothly. While I don't believe it was ever necessary, I do feel we were very well taken care of in that respect. Overall, I wish that I could provide more than 5 stars. I will certainly be contacting Sound Tile & Grout for our future tile needs.
