Travis researched in advance to figure out the best approach to meet our requirements for the mounting job. He was prompt in communication and sought input from us rather than considering this a just a run of the mill job.

The Handyman Rescue Team really did rescue us, and did an absolutely awesome job when we moved house. There were a bunch of small jobs that needed doing, like filling holes, patching up walls, ripping out old units, and replacing fixtures. Travis came out and short notice, and priced everything up quickly, and arranged for Chad and Trent to come out and do all of the work. They did such a great job that we asked them to do a load more, including painting the whole house for us. All of the work they did was to a really high standard, and they left the house spotless, and also helped get rid of all of the moving boxes for us too. Definitely a 5* service, and I'll definitely be using them again!

Work was completed in a Professional Manner, there were a few obstacles to overcome during the process; however, Travis did remedy and completed the job as required.

Handyman Rescue Team was absolutely fantastic in our experience working with them. So much so that, when I realized I forgot to review them, I am now back to review them half a year later after recommending them to a friend. My partner and I wanted to remove a wall between two rooms to combine. After independently confirming the wall was not a load bearing wall, we contacted several companies. One company refused to do any work if it was under $50,000 and a more complete renovation, another company quoted approximately $6,000 which seemed very high and I was ready to do it myself. Handyman Rescue Team agreed to it and provided a quote of approximately $1,500. I was wary because this was so much lower. I tentatively agreed. Two very nice guys came out within less than a week and took two days to do the entire wall removal. They did an excellent job, and you can only tell a wall was there if you know what to look for. Then I received the invoice... and it was for less than the quote by about $150. The only surprise was the page for an optional tip for the workers, which I happily provided in this case.In short, they were prompt, polite, easy to work with, and significantly more affordable than any other place we spoke to. This review also has the benefit of being several months later and the work still looks great. I can't recommend them enough.

Thank you Handyman Rescue Team! Our basement flooded (with sewage - eeeeesh!) last fall. Once mitigated with flood cuts, dehumidifiers, carpet/linoleum removal, Handyman Rescue Team came in and worked with us to rebuild everything better than it was before, but ALSO identified and replaced 4 leaky plumbing valves on our washer and utility sink, when they moved them to replace the flooring. They also replaced old hoses when they reconnected them, mitigating another potential water disaster in the future! Carlos has a great design eye and helped me pick superior replacement materials (vinyl plank floor in place of linoleum, and better carpeting from a different vendor).I love that Carlos and his assistant could do EVERYTHING that needed to be done to rebuild, so we didn't have to work with multiple contractors. Everything started on time and was completed in 6 days, as estimated. The only price change was minimal for the extra plumbing, which I could see with my own eyes needed to be done, and approved pricing with Travis before this work was added. Highly recommend!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer transparent, scope-based pricing that reflects the complexity of your project, not just hourly labor. All quotes include a detailed breakdown of labor, materials, and timeline expectations. We’re happy to adjust scopes to fit your budget, and we never tack on surprise fees. Our goal is to deliver quality work with clear expectations — no fine print, no fluff.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by asking five essential questions:
1. Photos of the project
2. Zip code or project address
3. Your budget
4. Timeline for completion
5. Details specific to your scope
Once we have this, we build your estimate, schedule a walkthrough if needed, and assign a licensed trade specialist to your job. From day one, you’ll receive clear communication, a written Scope of Work, and our Crafted with Care Commitment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team includes licensed general and specialty contractors with certifications in construction management, project planning, and code compliance. As owner, I bring over 30 years of business leadership along with licensed general contracting credentials in Washington State. We stay up to date with Seattle and Puget Sound permitting, safety standards, and manufacturer training programs for every trade we offer.
