Introduction: My name is Cristian Salyer and here at Studio Sala, I offer Guitar Instruction and audio recording that can extend into music production and artist development. Besides a lifetime of playing guitar and making music, I have years of guitar training under renowned guitarists and years of building my own skills and methods in music production. I have a background in classical guitar and play in a variety of styles today. I am currently involved in an indie rock band heading on tour in a few months. My real world experience in music gives my instruction an important insight that allows me to best support my students in finding their musical identity.
Having landed here in Seattle, I offer lessons in my home studio, in your home, or on Zoom! In my home studio, music lessons and recording/production can always expand and evolve. I have had guitar students learn to record, use DAW's and play piano. I have also had recording clients transition into learning guitar to support their singing. Studio Sala provides a space where the student directs their musical journey.
Not only am I passionate about helping students build their musical skill, but I care deeply about students achieving larger dreams around music, those that may involve artistic expression, creativity, networking, and getting involved in music communities.

My son took guitar lessons from Christian for two years and we absolutely loved working with him. He’s patient, positive, and my son says, “super nice.” I really appreciated how Christian found music that interested my son but also exposed him to pieces he wouldn’t have found on his own. He took the time in teaching proper techniques but made sure they were having fun along the way. Thank you Christian for kick starting Dylan’s passion for playing the guitar!

Cristian is a wonderful guitar teacher. My 15 year old has been studying with him for about 8 months and has blossomed musically with his gentle guidance. Cristian is not only very skilled technically, but he is a truly kind person. He has real chops as a teacher. He knows how to connect and encourage without creating tension or frustration. We’ve all been impressed with his skill, professionalism and warmth. Lessons are fun and productive. We feel so lucky to have found him!

Cristian literally taught me everything I know about music. Super great guy, extremely down to earth. Learning guitar with him is super fun and engaging, and you learn a lot of really good fundamentals that aren't all centered on one genre
