Introduction: I am a professionally trained makeup and hair artist, specializing in airbrush and lash extensions. Trained 30 years ago in theatre makeup and costume design, my focus for the past 15 years has been weddings, boudoir, fashion, lifestyle and editorial shoots and events. I love the one-on-one relationship. I'm honored to be with a bride for one of the most memory-filled days of her life, with a woman who may feel a little nervous on a boudoir shoot, but then blossoms into what she truly is: breathtaking and gorgeous! Ill start off by saying that my experience with Kat was simply great shes a top-notch professional, knows her craft and importantly, understands her clients and how to put them at ease. I recently scheduled some business headshots for social media postings and asked my hair stylist for a recommendation she said Kat was an experienced professional and gave me her contact information. At the time, I lived on the Kitsap Peninsula so was concerned Kat might not be willing to travel that far. However once I contacted Kat, she was more than willing to travel to meet me. Kat was very accommodating, professional and reassuring. Since this was my first encounter with a professional makeup artist, I was unsure what to expect however on the day of the shoot, she came prepared and ready to work. Kat immediately established a rapport both with me and with the photographer and helped make the shoot a success. Most relevant is the quality of Kats work I was stunned at her ability to transform my face since these were business photos I didnt want an evening look -Kat was able to make me look and feel beautiful and polished, yet professional. I highly recommend Kats services and should the need arise again, I will definitely call her and hope shes available.

Bottom line is I would recommend and use Kat Green a 100 times over for her makeup service! She is a beautiful, friendly, professional, and honest woman. She was not only on time for my wedding day but she was early and continued to be on time throughout the entire morning and afternoon of getting my girls and I ready. She gave her professional opinion while listening to our requests. Kat respected our ideas and executed each of our requests perfectly. I will certainly be using Kat for any event I would like my makeup done for. I'm a woman who usually wears no makeup at all on a daily basis and Kat left me feeling stunning and myself on my wedding day. I recognized her in our wedding program as our makeup artist and I could not be more pleased with her or her work!

Kat did hair and makeup for me, my mom and sister, and my mother-in-law for my wedding. She did an amazing job! We all looked great, and everything lasted the whole day. Kat was super-friendly and easy to work with, too.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Looking for a makeup artist that has experience, talent, uses good product and shows up on time are probably pretty obvious but I also recommend looking for a calm, steady demeanor. Brides truly appreciate having a person they can trust to be solid on such a big day in their lives.
