We hired Ron to finish the last room and staircase of a DIY whole-house bamboo floor that we had gotten tired of doing ourselves. The flooring we had purchased was a lot less consistent in color than a typical lot and consequently we had what I assume are some unusual requirements, such as intermixing shades throughout the room and saving the brightest colors for near the stairway.
Ron came out for a free estimate and was respectful of our budget. He was friendly and attentive and we had our quote by the end of the day.
On the day of the install, he and I did a walkthrough of the room and stairs and he asked detailed questions about every part of the install. Whenever I was unsure, he would do some fast cuts on his saw to show me visual examples. He paid very close attention to all of the specific things I asked for and pointed out all the potential problems before he started. He didn't hesitate to suggest alternatives to the plan we had come up with, such as installing headers by the doorways and where specifically to put trim pieces.
We couldn't be happier with the final result. As you might expect, Ron did the job much better and faster than we could have on our own. He matched the style of the install we had already completed, and nailed every quirky aspect of our instructions. He did a great job with clean up, and even cleaned up all the leaves outside our house at the entryway he was using.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ron and Seattle Hardwood Floors to any of my friends looking for help with their flooring projects!

Ron, did a great job installing bamboo flooring for us! The job included both gluing some of the flooring and floating the rest on the ground level of our house. Very happy with the results. Will definitely be calling him when we redo the flooring on our upper level.
