I hired Jan at Bauhaus Home Inspection on short notice and he delivered on every front. He responded quickly, showed up on time, and gave me the best quote of everyone I spoke with.

What really stood out was how much he explained during the inspection itself. He walked me through each item as he inspected it and gave practical recommendations on how to maintain the appliances and other major systems year to year to extend their life.

He also promised the report the same day and delivered it by midnight, exactly as he said he would.

If you're looking for a home inspector, especially on a tight timeline, I'd recommend Jan without hesitation.

Jan is awesome! I couldn’t have asked for a better home inspector. He was incredibly thorough, professional, and patient throughout the entire inspection. He took the time to explain every finding in a way that was easy to understand, separating normal maintenance items from issues that actually mattered.

He carefully inspected everything—from the roof, attic, crawl space, HVAC system, electrical, plumbing, deck, fencing, appliances, and more. Thanks to his attention to detail, we identified several important items that will help us negotiate repairs and plan future maintenance, while also giving us confidence that the home’s major structural components were in great shape.
