The first thing that you should do is put down your keyboard and step away from your computer. While there are some reputable moving companies that have web sites. Your next step is to pick up your phone book, or call your local real estate agents and find at least three moving companies that have offices in your area. Set up appointments for three moving companies to come to your house and do an in home estimate in the order of your least favorite to your most favorite company. Find out up front if the mover will be doing the move themselves, or if they will be sub contracting the job to another company. Check out their trucks and storage facility. Make sure that their trucks are permanently marked with the companys name. As each moving company gives you an estimate based on what they see in your home. Ask questions about the difference in pricing since it may have to do with what services one company provides that another does not, the amount of insurance included, or valuation of your things. I did the same and got successful moving experience with ABC Movers.

Please change your business name to Seattle UNPROFESSIONAL movers. We had a move scheduled with this business one month in advance for 21st september. We took off from work for the move, paid a deposit of $50 and scheduled a morning 9am move with 3 men and a truck. They confirm our booking on 20th morning. Guess what we get a call on 20th september, the night before, and they tell us that the truck has broken down and they can only come between 12-2:30PM. When we told that we have elevator reservation and it is a big move they cannot do anything. The call center person Vanessa did not have any empathy and told us this is what you get and they cannot do anything. They have two other moves and those people cannot reschedule so yes we need to. Luckily we got kangaroo movers at the last minute and those guys were helpful and professional.If you want surety with your move and want someone who values your time pls do not move with these guys. They are the worst!!

I called and spoke with Simon and he was great from start to finish. I explained that I needed to move as quickly as possible. He was able to get all of my items picked up just a few days later with no extra charges. We went over all the items I would be bringing and he gave me a fair price compared to the other companies I had been speaking with. He explained everything, and what to expect. I was given the customer service phone number, which is 24 hours and that was so relieving to know someone would always be there to answer my questions. I was contacted the day before my pickup date with information as to when I could expect the drivers to show up. Movers arrived on time and were very professional and they worked quickly. I am so glad I paid for packing as well, it was a great way to save myself time. I was informed on the day of pickup how long delivery would take, and I was also given copies of all of my paperwork. I called in 3 days after pickup to inquire about delivery, the customer service department called me back in a timely manner with an update and they also provided me with the driver's phone number. The driver called me and informed me when he was on his way and showed up within the window he provided me. All of my items were delivered and I had no issues.

This company rocks! I am currently on a wheelchair and moving from Seattle, to Honolulu. The pre-move experience with this company has been outstanding!! This company shines at supporting activities before the move actually takes place. They delivered moving materials and instructions 4 weeks in advance the moving date to make sure everything is well coordinated. The planning process was very detailed, making sure a specific parking spot for the moving truck and best access to the new place were properly identified. Alternatives were also explored. Overall: professionalism, experience, attention to detail and planning were impressive. I will place a 2nd review after the d-day.
