Best thing thus far about a long moving day. After As long drive from Southern Oregon hauling three horses and driving a moving van and. and carrier, we arrived to find that the movers re had contacted were nowhere to be found. What to do on a Sunday morning? A quick internet search resulted in a few possibilities. Imagine my surprise when at 5:30 am I received a quick text from George at EDL Movers that help was available right away. George and Alex arrived a few minutes before the designated time, neatly dressed and immediately set about the task of unloading the van and placing things exactly where I designated. They took great care with my furniture and were alert to avoiding scratching floors or walls. The entire process was fast and efficient and I couldn't have been more pleased. Competitively priced, professional in all aspects, helpful plus. What's not to be happy about? This is a class act!

Moving from Bellevue to Renton, we did a large amount of research on movers. Originally chose to go with a different company mainly because of a couple of negative reviews for EDL and also a flat 50 minute charge from their office to our door and back again after the move (we discovered not only was this standard but a better offering than other companies' fees). George himself and Alex were at our door 5 mins early (huge sigh of relief!). They worked diligently for the entire job without much rest at all. They were professional, efficient and careful with our belongings and buildings. The price when all was said and done was under $600 which was right where we had hoped (if not less). The only challenge was that the larger truck was not functioning correctly so we did have to make two trips but George stopped the clock for transit so from a cost perspective, it did not affect the bottom-line. Overall, we could not have imagined now having gone with another company. EDL and George were truly stupendous in a highly stressful (always, right?) move. Thank you!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a standard rate and most of my prices are regulated. I have a minimum of one hour during the week if customer book between 8:00 a.m and 5:00 p.m. However, I still have to give them a written estimates before the moving process, there's a 4 hour minimum before 8:00 am, after 5:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am looking into taking business classes next fall as soon as our schedule starts to calm down a little
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to start my business because this is what I love to do! I have a lot of fun doing it. I enjoy every move, because there's always a new experience and you meet different people every day and different places.
