- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard rate is $30 per half hour and $40 per 45 minute lesson, with sliding-scale discounts available as needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically get to know the student and what kind of music inspires them. I prefer to teach guitar technique and music theory through the lens of music they already know and love.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a musician since age four, playing multiple instruments in bands and ensembles in all genres. Beginning in 2009 I attended several of Guitar Craft courses directed by Robert Fripp (world renowned guitarist of King Crimson), which has greatly influenced my personal philosophy and helped me to develop many techniques to unlock the creative potential we all possess.
