Torrence J. Gustafson

Introduction: I have produced and exhibited work throughout Washington, Oregon, and Montana for the past 10 years. After receiving my BFA from The University of Montana in 2012, I moved to Seattle, Washington to further seek my creative passions. My drawings consist of loose and gritty marks applied to paper or walls in an authoritative manner. Acrylic and graphite are my main mediums used. I usually depict icons and characters compositionally to convey narratives. My work is often described as being reminiscent of folklore in that it reveals life's lessons in a lighthearted way. I am skilled in murals, drawings, paintings, and sculpture.
