- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by the hour and will pass on any parking or ferry fees to the client. In some cases, I may charge an additional fee for mileage if the client is more than 30 miles away.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do not do in-home consultations for design and organizing, as they don't get work done and are a waste of time.I work in 4-6 hour blocks of time with my client present for at least the first session. In the first session, I do an assessment to determine my clients needs and goals, and find out what is going on in their life and what they can manage/handle. For some clients, 4-6 hours is all they need. For other clients, 3 - 5 sessions may be needed. Every solution is unique and custom designed for each home and client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am CONSTANTLY researching new materials, new services, color combinations, furniture, and every possible solution I can offer my clients. I am ALWAYS learning.
