Josh is prompt, professional, and adaptive in his personal training. I've appreciated the fact that he's also providing nutritional and overall activity guidance as well. Great customer experience and worthy of the value.Aug 16, 2019Verified
We have just started with personal training with Josh, but we are really looking forward to continuing on. He is very calm and really hands on, which makes the whole process much easier. I would definitely recommend him.Dec 22, 2018Verified
Josh is a great all-around personal trainer who is well practiced in the science of movement. When you work out with Josh, he notices very subtle ways in which you perform a lift or a movement and is able to advise you as to how to get the most out of a particular exercise and prevent injury. I worked with Josh on general strength, weight loss, and an Anterior Pelvic Tilt. Josh was able to quickly recommend movements to address the Pelvic Tilt and I progressed well in strength training as well. Josh also advised me on diet to retain the gains in muscle and lose weight. I lost over 40 lbs in the 20/20 program at PRO Sports Club. I would recommend Josh without hesitation for training, movement analysis and injury recovery, and diet optimization for weight loss and optimal body composition.Dec 13, 2018
Josh was my personal trainer for more then 18 months. During our initial session - we talked about my personal goals + he assessed my overall health - after which he had a personal curated program and a clear path to achieve those goals. Josh's coaching style was sublime, ingenious. He always focused more on form and technique rather then on how much can one lift. It must be right, because I can still see its benefits today. I guess this comes because he is a natural. I often remember telling with him - "Josh, when you perform a dead-lift or a squat, it almost looks like art!". What I learnt from Josh, I still apply to my workouts every week - focus more on form, diet then obsessing about minutiae. Its the reason why most of my friends who worked out have injured some part of their body due to bad technique or form - but not me. Besides coaching - Josh is very friendly, yet super professional. He will value your time and money. I wish we spoke more often then we currently do, but time plays truant. My advise - go with him, do what he says, focus on the stuff he points you to read - and you WILL see a positive change in your health.Nov 21, 2018
Josh is a fantastic trainer - he took the time to fully assess my physical fitness needs, and adapt routines to my fitness level. He has always been punctual and communicative for our sessions, and ensuring that any concerns and questions I have were addressed. He is always professional but knows how to make our sessions fun and engaging. Over the last six weeks I feel like I’ve made good progress towards through working with him, with improvements in strength and stamina. I would highly recommend Josh, and intend to continue training with him.Jun 29, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My rate is $75 per hour for 1-on-1 training and $110 for 2-on-1 training. Please contact me for prices for larger groups. Discounts are available for multiple sessions, as listed above. There are no other fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first thing I like to do is meet for a free phone consultation in which we can discuss goals, expectations and anything else important to you. During the first session we'll do a basic movement screen to get a sense of where you're at and what the best route forward is.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I was certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2011 and have spent countless hours on continuing education since then.
