My name is Shannon Henry, I am 23 years old, and I am currently living and working as a personal trainer in Seattle, Washington! I grew up in Lafayette, Colorado with a family highly involved in the health and fitness world that instilled in me a deep appreciation for wellness at a very young age. I grew up participating in competitive soccer and swimming, and I have always loved taking advantage of outdoor activities like hiking, biking, skiing, and snowboarding. Once I went to college and was no longer participating in organized sports is when I truly fell in love with weight-lifting and working hard in the gym. I graduated with a business degree from the University of Denver and shortly afterward I began to pursue my passion for health and fitness. I furthered my education by earning my Personal Training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and increased my expertise by training and competing in my first NPC bodybuilding competition in the Spring of 2016. I placed 1st in my novice class and 2nd in my open class in the bikini division. I learned so much, made so many wonderful new friends, and overall it was an incredibly rewarding experience. I am always eager to be expanding upon my skills and I definitely plan on competing more in the future!

My goal is to share my passion and knowledge with others to inspire and help them achieve their goals as well!
