Overnight Cat Sitter with 24 years of experience, specializing in cats and small- to medium-sized calm dogs (out of the puppy stage) in West Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, and the Blue Ridge area. I’m mature, responsible, trustworthy, and dependable. I stay in clients’ homes during the day, providing plenty of TLC along with reliable overnight care. I love caring for pets, as I do not have pets of my own. Cat rates are lower than dog rates, dog rate is $130 for 2 dogs. I have a two-dog maximum. I prefer caring for a cat or one calm dog to give them the best attention and care and allow me to work. Donna watched my 10 month old cat Margo. She did a great job with communication before, during and after our trip. She made sure that Margo received her food, play time and connection time while staying at our place. Donna even sent me pictures of her during our time away, which felt really good. I was very comfortable leaving both the care of my cat and safety of our house in her hands. Thank you, will use again!

When I say that our 3 dogs and 2 cats are our children this isn’t an understatement. My husband and I are very cautious when it comes to leaving our fur babies with anyone even family. I found Donna and connected with her right away. I could tell she was a genuine animal lover and good person. Before leaving I wrote up a 2 page letter of instruction for my craziness and she did not mind at all. We left our kids and home with her for two nights. Our oldest dog was coming to the end of his life and I was really worried about leaving him but Donna assured me that he would be ok. All our dogs took medication daily and one has anxiety but Donna did an amazing job making sure everyone was happy and comfortable. She sent me regular pictures, noticed our one dog was having separation anxiety and spent extra time with her. Even our cats enjoyed her in their home. When we came home the house was in perfect condition and all our animals were happy as if they went on a mini vacation as well. If you are doubting leaving your home and animals behind like I was, you do not have to worry if you are blessed enough to be able to book dates with Donna! Thank you Donna! We look forward to using you again.

Donna came and stayed in my home for three nights and four days. Oreo is a senior dog, 15+ years old and has renal failure. I could not get out of a work trip and needed someone very reliable and dependable that could take Oreo to the vet for emergency services if needed. Fortunately that was not needed, but I know if that was the case Donna is capable of supporting that process. The house was left nice and tidy, bed stripped like requested, etc. I would have no qualms hiring Donna again if needed. I do have family that can watch Oreo, but at her advanced age I wanted Oreo comfortable in her own space. If you have any specific questions please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I stay at your house during the daytime as well as spending the night. I'm a Life Coach and teach online classes during the day while keeping your pets company. I don't lower my rate for 1 pet. Accepting calm dogs, under 40 lbs and over 2 years old. For rates: email or text me pet types/ages, address/location, trip dates, include a picture of pets. Non-smoking, clutter free homes only.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Send information to each other to determine if we are a good match. I like to see a pictures of the pets, kitchen and living room and yard. The reason I ask for pics of your home is to avoid a tour of a cluttered house. It happened once and awkward. I'm happiest in an organized, clutter free home. Once you read my profile and reviews and send pics, lets schedule a phone call or FaceTime.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In my 21 years experience as an overnight pet sitter, I've learned though true life experience. Various emergency situation have occurred and my resourcefulness, maturity and wisdom how to handle situation in the moment. I understand energy and balance my energy daily, which cats/dogs pick up on energy. I have a big heart and loving pets comes naturally.
